VINTAGE LIGHTED MEDICINE WALL CABINET SHELF VANITY MIRROR WITH SCONCES REGENCY
We are pleased to offer this FABULOUS. Mid Century, Hollywood Regency, recessed wall medicine vanity cabinet. This rare cabinet features a wonderful, sophisticated design with ornate gilt wood style facade. It has 2 side arms with ATTACHED lighted wall sconces. The sconces have heavy, cut crystal shades with Mid Century acrylic bottom"tassels" The hardware(arms and sconce backs) is gilt brass. Each sconce has a single light bulb receptical. The large oval mirror is surrounded by a lovely frame. The frame has a deep, Italianate or French styled, classical design with a beaded interior border. The frame is also the cabinet door which has a magnetic closure. It opens to reveal a large storage area. There are 3 shelves; 2 that can be removed and one that is the bottom of the cabinet. The two center shelves have a smaller"sub shelf" ... morefor smaller items. The cabinet has an electrical wiring box on the back at the top. On the side is an on/off switch with a dimmer control for the sconces. There are also 2 electrical outlets on the side. This is a very nicely constructed cabinet. The mirror frame/door is made of a hard plastic. Very much in the Syroco style with a metal interior. It is in very good condition. The mirror is excellent with no scratches. The interior cabinet/shelf unit and the under side frame are metal. There is some wear on the interior finish of the shelf unit which can be easily be corrected with a little spray paint. The arms and sconces are gilt brass. The frame is in wonderful condition as are the sconces. The wiring is very good and the cabinet is ready to be installed! The cabinet is nicely sized. It measures as follows: Overall dimensions are 31" tall and 33.5" wide. The mirror and frame measure 31" tall and 20.75" wide. The interior mirror measurement(without the frame) is 29" tall and 16.5" wide. The interior cabinet shelf is 19" tall. 13" wide and 4" deep. But this is the rarest cocktail/cordial ... morebars in burl walnut that we’ve ever had in our 40-something years in business. I’ve seen this bar in teak, which is a bit more modern, but never in beautiful carved walnut and burl walnut like this one. I’m guessing it dates from the 1950s era. This bar is quite unique, featuring access in the front and back. The sidewalls swing up to support the flip-open top, which has a Masonite or simulated marble look extended bar area. On the back are two sliding glass doors that give you access to the inside of the cabinet. If your friends or customers can’t wait, they can unlock and open the two picture frame molded doors with fancy brass filigree hardware, and expose a birch lined interior that features everything you need for a good party. There are cutouts for 16 bottles in the bottom, silver gallery shelves on the second and top shelves, a pullout tray to cut fruit, and has all the options you need in a bar cabinet. All that’s missing is the alcohol. When it’s not being used as a bar, the flip tops flip down, the doors close, and it’s just a gorgeous cabinet. This is a wonderful quartersawn oak hanging cupboard with an art deco type style leaded glass door and lovely wood grains. This corner cabinet's outer dimensions measure 23 1/2 inches across the front and 23 1/2 inches tall. Making the front square in shape, with 17 inch walls running back into the corner on each side. Inside the cabinet is 21 inches tall by 21 inches wide and measures 9 inches deep back into the corner. This space is split across the middle horizontally into two shelves within. Vintage corner cupboard/hutch. It nice condition-there of course is some wear from age but nothing major. I believe that it is a pine as it is not very heavy. Has the grooves on all top three shelves. Vintage mid-century walnut hutch w/matching buffet
This furniture is located in Felton. Delaware and must be picked up there. Vintage mid-century walnut two-piece hutch with matching serving buffet. I believe this is called Danish modern, not sure of exact age but these were in my parent's house since the early 1960's. I can't find any manufacturer names but it is marked Walnut on the back, probably walnut veneer. Both pieces have wicker/rattan like inserts. The hutch stands approx. 74 inches high, is 60 inches wide and 18 inches deep. The cart is 41 inches long with the end leaves folded and 66 inches long with the leaves extended. The hutch is missing the glass in one door but it is flat glass, an easy replacement. Buffet has some wear, a few scratches and a couple of chips on the top, missing one door pull. Vintage Carved Wooden Shrine Cabinet 24 x 12 x 12 inches
This vintage carved wooden shrine cabinet stands 24 inches tall and is 12 inches wide and approximately 12 inches deep. The doors are hinged. There are four wooden carved panels at the top and base. The top panels have small interior circular sections with carved flowers with a small brass wire inlay. Photo 5 shows an oblong carved inset with the brass inlaid flower and vine. Each of the four identical panels is essentially constructed with four rectangular panels. One at the top and one on the bottom. Each laid on their sides, with two vertical panels side by side between them. These panels all have a brass inlaid design. Photot 5 and 3 are the same color as 1, 2& 4 but the flash has altered the color appearance. I have made no attempt to"tap" the inlay wire back in place where it is coming out. There are small brass knobs ... moreon the doors. Essentially the carvings are a combination of leaves, flowers, vines and medallions. The cabinet could be used as a shrine for any faith. Cabinet is sturdy although reenforcing screws have been installed in some places by a prior owner. There are imperfections and a couple places that show small cracks. Weight is 13 and 1/2 pounds. Great solid pine country cabinet/commode. Would make a great addition to just about any room in your home. With storage under the top and below you could use in a child's room for toys. The interior has been painted a sage green and the exterior is the natural wood color with a clear varnish. The top lifts up for storage, and there is a shelf underneath.
