Unmarked except for a couple of illegible painter's initials. Unsure of the type of wood that was used. But. Tiger Maple 2pc, 6 Pane Corner Cupboard
Here is an estate-fresh Tiger Maple 2 piece corner cupboard in a great smaller size. The sellers said their parents had this made for a specific spot. Thus the size, in the 1950's. A lot of fine features: 6 panes of the waviest glass you've ever seen, a bold cornice, period hardware, scalloped apron top and bottom, dentil molding. The case has pinned joints and square nails, a warm color, bold striping, and a single board top, on the bottom, 18" wide. There is a 5" square plug on the top board where a knot was likely removed during the build. It has dovetailed drawers, raised panels on the door, and a nice old blue-green interior. I can't find anything wrong with it. It measures 83" high. 22" deep, and takes a 27" corner. Only about 32" wide in the front. Pick up here or freight.
