19th. Century French Porcelain Perfume / Scent Bottle Hand Painted
We are offering 2 antique perfume bottles. They are hand painted and gilded. The first one is 6 5/8" stopper included) high. Bottom diameter is 2 5/8" The bottle has 4 hand painted panels with purple and lavender flowers and is accented with cobalt blue scrolls. The gold shows wear. Especially on the rim of the stopper and on the neck. Both bottles have a diagonal line on the bottom. This first one also has a letter engraved on the bottom. It is cursive and we cannot interpret it. The second bottle is a tad shorter. 6 1/2" This is because the stopper fits more deeply into the neck of the bottle. The shape of the bottle is identical to the first one. The design on this bottle is a little less elaborate. There are clusters of pink and of maroon flowers. This bottle has a hairline, about 2" long, on one of the panels. The ... morebottom of the stopper has a few nicks, quite small. The gold trim on this bottle shows wear also. Each bottle weighs nearly a pound.

This auction is for a beautiful and rare Victorian tear catcher. The pictures don't do justice to the beautiful color. When you hold it up to the light. The blue color is nothing short of awesome looking. Many people collect tear catchers. Which aren't that plentiful because being made of glass, many of them have broken. Their history from the Civil War era is steeped in romanticism. When a soldier left to go to war. He would give his wife or girlfriend a tear catcher, which she would fill with her tears to show how much she missed him upon his safe return. If he was killed in the war, the tear catcher would be buried with him, if possible, or passed down through the family as an heirloom. The length is 6.5 inches. A stopper is not included. Brass top has a embossed flower& designs around it& I think a small dent in the center of the flower. Hard to tell if that is probably part of the shape& design or a actual tiny dent? Hand painted romantic enameled flowers or floral with white& pink teeny tiny mini flowers& mint green blue dots. The back was just some white stems but most of that is worn off. The bottle is a rich royal cobalt BLUE. Just amazing color glass! The glass is solid blue not painted on or dipped in blue. The bottle& lid are approx. 2& 1/2" without the chain. I was told by the seller I bought it from many years ago. This was made in France& called a"finger ring scent bottle" I was told ladies would wear these on there finger as they danced at a ball around the turn of the century& earlier. Very detailed brass metal. These look amazing hanging on a wall or a shadow box or even laying down on a night stand for that romantic Victorian chic look in a bedroom. GORGEOUS VINTAGE/ ANTIQUE PERFUME BOTTLE Clear glass. Hand decorated. Age and Manufacturer Unknown. Bulb needs replacing. Inner glass pipette has been broken off. But I will include the piece if you want to repair or restore this beautiful bottle. It has been in storage for years and could use a gentle cleaning. Very old late 1800's glass mouth blown perfume bottle with hand painted enamel floral decorations ladies perfume bottle. Glass has no chips or cracks. There is some interior staining and wear seen when bottle is held to light. The top metal push down metal applicator does not work and the tube and ball that would have been coming from the top are also missing. This was obtained from the estate of a long ago passed away fine antique dealers personal collection. The bottle is a amethyst with a light iridescent surface application Metal is very old. Dark and wore and again the top applicator is missing interior tube, squeeze ball and does not work. Perfume is 5" high to the top.

French Delvaux Perfume 10" Bottle 1920's RARE 18 Rue Royale Hand-Painted France
For your consideration. This stunning, RARE, hand-enameled large perfume bottle with stopper by Delvaux. Once upon a time located at 18 Rue Royale. In Paris. This name and address is hand-written in enamel on the bottom of the bottle. This features gold urns bursting with flowering foliage. This is early 1900's. Most likely 1920's and very possibly late 1800's. If you have any additional information, I would love to know. The bottom has the pontil(or punt) mark from the cutting of the hand-blown glass. Very nice! This is 10" tall to top of stopper. Bottle is 4.25" wide and 3 1/8" deep. I love how the rectangular shape of this curves and rounds out at the top. I can't seem to find this same pattern of perfume bottle by Delvaux on the internet. So this is extremely rare. And of the Delvaux bottles I found, there ... morewere only a few and they weren't for sale. This has a light ring on the outside top just below the neck. I am able to scratch it off with my fingernail. Which tells me it can be cleaned off. But I would rather leave this up to the buyer who might know better how to remove this without affecting the painted flowers. It's not very noticeable either. Lovely Antique Hand Painted Glass Perfume Bottle - Made in Czecho-Slovakia
This perfume bottle was acquired at the estate sale of an antiques dealer. I am not sure how old it is. Only that it is old. It is bulb shaped with a narrow neck and opening. It closes with what I believe is a pressed glass(not cut) stopper. There is a yellow stripe painted around the opening, which upon close examination I believe was originally gold gilt that has faded to yellow over time. The body of the bottle is decorated with hand painted flowers, which resemble daisies, done in a bright orange. The flowers are surrounded with circles made up of hand painted white dots. There is a yellow band painted around the base, which I also think was originally gold gilt. The bottom is marked in white, the words, Made in Czecho-Slovakia" with a diamond painted at each end of the wording and encircled by two ovals. The bottle and stopper are ... morein excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The only issue would be some slight wear to the hand painted decorations, which is minimal considering that the piece is an antique. The measurments are: about 5 1/4" tall with the stopper, about 4" tall without the stopper. The diameter of the opening is 1 1/4" and the diameter of the base is 2 1/2.
