DESCRIPTION This auction is for an early metal daisy or other flower basket doorstop. If I had to guess the age. I would guess pre-1900. It has been painted over, probably more than once. The mold has openings within the array flowers and are not white spots in the pictures. The back side of the mold is not flat and shows the casts of the flowers and basket. It stands 10" x 5-3/4" wide and weighs 5 pounds before packaging. It looks like it is marked on the bottom, but I'm not sure exactly what it says. It's either letters and a number or all numbers. I used steel wool on the back and bottom to locate the mark. Has had paint added. Some light surface rust. LOCAL PICKUP IS ALWAYS WELCOME. White spots or glare is from the camera flash. My scale computes to the nearest gram and it has been tested and calibrated. All my items are measured with a standard tape measure and are rounded off to the quarter inch. I attempt to be as accurate as possible. But odd surfaces can prove difficult sometimes as I lack a pair of calipers. I do not take apart or clean anything after listing an item. It is up to the new owner to clean silver and other metals. I am happy to ship overseas. But be aware of your country's customs laws. I have had items returned at considerable expense and I cannot be held accountable if my items cannot make it past such inspections. A note to silver scrappers: There are those who will claim that the weight of an object is less than advertised and demand a rebate after the auction has ended. This is an ongoing trend and these individuals seem to complain if silver prices go down between the day they buy and the day they receive. When melting silver. I've had this Elk for more than 40 years and throughly enjoyed having him. Many years ago I was told he was a doorstop. But I was just informed by a fellow"ebayer" that he's an ANTIQUE CLOCK TOPPER. Not too many of these running around these days! He'd be perfect displayed in a rustic cabin. Or in a trophy case. Perfect gift for that hunter in your family! He stands about 9" tall. The shorter one marked Angelus is approximately 4 and 1/4" tall and 4 and 1/2" wide.

Hi! Up for auction is this great old antique/vintage cast iron/metal elephant figurine/paperweight in original. As found condition. I purchased this and another like it(in another listing) at a local estate sale. She weighs 1 lb. 5/80z. she's a little heavier than the other one, though they are exactly the same, just different colors) She has three layers of paint(obviously chipping) that I can see-mint/seafoam green is the color at the bottom-maybe the original color, I don't know, followed by white and then black. I have turned this elephant every way but inside out and do not see a maker's mark, so I do not know who made her or where.sorry. Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Cast Metal Horse. This horse weighs 10.8 pounds. It is very heavy for its size which measures 17" long by 4 and 3/4" wide by 7 and 1/4" tall. Is it made from Spelter or Bronze? I am unsure of the exact metal that it is made from. There are sections towards the back that have a green tarnish color to the metal. It should be noted that the horse has both of its rear legs broken off. I have shown photographs of this. The horse still can still sit upright with the broken legs. There are no other breaks or repairs present. There is wear present throughout. This is a lovely item that is a must for any serious horse collector. Early Vintage Louis V Aronson Cast Metal Wall Plaque Jesus& Joseph Ronson The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! Here is a lovely early piece of Louis Vincent Aronson Metal Art. Marked on the backside. L. V. A 1923, it is a metal relief image of the baby Jesus and Joseph with its original wall hanging loop at the back. This is a wonderful piece for the Aronson collector- most known for his Ronson lighters. Aronson was born in ... more1869 and attended the New York Technical School for metallurgy and metal working. He had a lab in the basement of his parents' home where he experimented with plating process on metal. These wonderful marked decorative pieces are very hard to find- so I was quick to grab it for you. The plaque measures 6 3/8" tall by 4" wide and is about 1/2" thick from the front to the back. It weighs a smidge under 1 lb, so it's heavy for its size. The metal is a silver color that is very dark in some spots from age. A magnet does not stick to it. It's hard to see in my photos, but in the light, you can still see a fair amount of the gold color of it's original plating. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition- aside from the wear to the finish- no issues at all. You can see a new piece of tape on the front in my photos that I forgot to take off(it held on the dealer tag) it's been removed now, and the tape didn't alter the patina. It is dusty and could use a little cleaning, I have not cleaned, and have left in as found condition. It's a soulful piece. Please ask if you have any questions. ANTIQUE EROTIC ART DECO SET OF NUDE CAST METAL BOOKENDS
Offering this exquisite pair of EROTIC ART DECO NUDE BOOKENDS. These beautiful bookends have been described by some as the image of Salome. A dancer of the Seven Veils. I believe these were created in the late 1920's to early 1930's and are very rare. There are some similar but not as beautiful or unique as these. Such a wonderful symmetrical flow of the dancing figures. Each is made of a heavy metal and looks to be plated with a wonderful bronze/black metal finish. These are in very good structural condition with only some surface blemishes and rub marks and surface lines which must of been in the molding process since they are identical on both pieces. There is an area on the fingers of the left hand of one of the dancers that are not as defined as those in the other dancing figure. The base is 6" long. Welcome to my auction up for your consideration is this Vintage SEXTON CAST METAL Kitchen Wall Decor COUNTRY Coffee Grinder& Bellow Here we have a two piece set of Sexton Aluminum black painted vintage wall hangings. One is a coffee grinder the other is a fire place bellow. Both pieces are used& both have chips in the paint. Could be re-painted or left as-is. Both hangings have a hanger attached on the back. Stamped SEXTON& USA on the back of both. These pieces would accent any kitchen nicely or repurpose them for something else. Grinder measures: 5 1/2"wide by 6 1/2" tall, Bellow measures: 8" wide by 3 1/2" tall. Please view pictures closely as to determine the condition. Gorgeous Fancy Vintage Cast Metal Harp Shaped Stand Music Book Picture Stand The pickens were slim this weekend as far as auctions and estate sales. So I went to a favorite antique mall that always has an awesome February sale. Picked up lots of antiques and unique items to list! I also continue to list new items from the farm estate auction, with lookouts more new hardware pieces over the next several weeks. I am also going to one of my favorite flea market shows this weekend, so wish me luck! There’s something for everyone! This one is soooo one of my favorites this week- it is just so pretty! AND. There's lots of ways that you can use it too. It's a vintage cast metal(a magnet does not stick, I think it's spelter) stand in the shape of a musical harp or lyre. With the right size, it will work as a book stand, a music stand, ... moreeven a photo or art frame stand- I tried all- and heavy ones too, and this stand stood strong. It measures 8" wide, 11 1/8" tall and is 5 7/8" deepest- that's at the top and at the feet. The piece was made from two pieces that were soldered together at a bar that meets on either side(that also serves as the rest for your item) I'm showing a close up of the bars' seams in photo 12- it's soldered there, and I shot a close up because from afar, I didn't want you thinking that it's a crack or it's a repair- it's original. The bars on the inside are 7 3/4" apart measuring on the outside walls and 6 3/8" apart measuring on the inside walls. The space between the sides at the bars is 2 3/8" apart measuring on the inside walls, and goes up to 5" apart as the two sides sway out by design. The piece weighs 3 1/2 lbs. It's marked with a B on the inside in the cast metal- I do not know the maker. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. The finish is a dark gold, and it shows only very minor wear. It is dusty, and could use a good bath- I have not cleaned or messed with the as found patina in any way. Isn't it

This graceful vintage or antique Art Deco cast bronze deer sculpture/ figurine/ statuette is captured in a poised. Watchful position. Its simple, elegant lines make it the perfect decor accent to bring character and charm to an antique-inspired library, a mid-century inspired living room, or anywhere in your home. It's a lovely little piece of art. The deer has a beautiful green patina; some of the small raised areas show the underlying yellow bronze color. The deer is hollow. There is an old price sticker on the base. From a previous owner, that reads"Bronze deer on marble $175. I am not sure how old this piece is- perhaps mid-century, perhaps earlier.
