The pig is painted pink and the basket is in gold. It measures 2 3/4 inches or 7 cm from pig to basket and the pig is 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch high(4 by 2.5 cm) The pig is missing some paint and the basket has darkened with age. Again. Some of the features of this old family piece include- Bronze cylindrical shape with Art Nouveau floral or iris design from the Heintz Art Metal Shop, Pretty sterling overlay on bronze. The technique which was invented and patented by Heintz in 1912, Exhibits the Heintz Art Metal Shop. HAMS, diamond mark and 3591, Beautiful mottled patina gives this vase a richness that can only be achieved over time, Uncommon design which we were unable to find anywhere else, Size: Height: 8 1/8" to 8 1/4" Widest diameter: 3 3/8" to 3 1/2" Base diameter: 2 1/2" ... moreCondition: The rolled rim of this vase is crooked and has a small dent. There are two small dents in the base and a larger one in the side. Please see our photos below. The following five photos are of the two dents in the base or lowest part of the vase's side. The following three photos are all of the same dent in the side of the vase. Below is the photo of the small dent in the rim. This lovely Heintz Art Metal vase has the cylindrical form with rolled top or flange. It has a rather intricate Art Nouveau floral. Possibly iris, design that reminds us of some of the Tiffany windows. Otto Heintz patented his technique for applying sterling silver to his bronze pieces without any solder which is the 1912 patent date seen on much of his work. This vase measures a little more than 8 inches tall and it has a lovely mottled patina that will only get better with time. Consistent with Heintz numbering system, this vase has the production number 3591. Numbers between 3500 and 3800 were reserved for vases and single-weight bowls. Bronze Dimensions with Marble Base:Height 17" x Width 7" Marble Dimensions: Diameter 7" Height without base:16" Weight: 18 LBS Inventory: 14X07078941 Joseph holds the newborn baby Jesus in this arms. He gazes upon this new life falling in love with its presence by the second. This piece has an biblical feel. Joseph is dressed in heavy garments and bare feet. He appears to be from a simpler time in history. This wonderful piece has a black marble base. It is signed Valli. The lost wax method was used. The process of bringing a bronze sculpture to life using the lost-wax method is something you'll appreciate after taking this tour- Enjoy. Here Artist original clay sculpture is ... morenearly ready for the foundry. Note the artist is still adding the finishing touches. Most sculptors prefer to work with clay or wax; some however. Do use wood and other mediums. Here the finished original clay is now complete. The sculptor will take it to the foundry now, get a bid then begin the first stages of the lost wax process. The first step can be shocking for some as they begin to decide how this original will be cut up. In order to prepare the original clay sculpture for molding. It will be dissected by cutting the clay with wire and by cutting the armature with a saw. The armature is what helped support the clay in place while the artist was creating it. Note the registration marks which later in the process will serve to realign the parts. Shown here are the sections of the original clay sculpture after having been dissected. Now the various parts of the original are carefully mounted on clay plugs before the rubber mold material is applied. The clay plug later serves as a pour spout for the mold. As you can see now they begin painting the latex rubber onto the original together with the clay plus that's been added in layers. Notice the shim line that will alter

Hello. You are viewing my auction for an Antique Cast Metal Horse. This horse weighs 10.8 pounds. It is very heavy for its size which measures 17" long by 4 and 3/4" wide by 7 and 1/4" tall. Is it made from Spelter or Bronze? I am unsure of the exact metal that it is made from. There are sections towards the back that have a green tarnish color to the metal. It should be noted that the horse has both of its rear legs broken off. I have shown photographs of this. The horse still can still sit upright with the broken legs. There are no other breaks or repairs present. There is wear present throughout. This is a lovely item that is a must for any serious horse collector. Nice old sculpture or bookend featuring a horse standing calmly with a halter on. Circa 1930. The horse is mounted on a pale green onyx base. This measures 6" tall. 7 3/4" long, 3" wide and weighs 3 lbs. 4 oz. It is in good original antique condition. The horse has some finish loss and a chip off the tip of one ear. The onyx is in very good condition with minor flaws. This shows nicely. The horse is level and firmly attached to the base with no wobbling.
