Inspired by the opulence of 19th-century lighting this pair of beautiful candelabras has more than 380 precision-cut and polished prisms for optimal refraction and sparkle. They are an impressive pair by any standards. The antique brass frames have a very nice patina and have no damage and are completely intact. They measure 12 inches wide and 28 inches high. They weigh approximately 20 lbs. each and shipping weight would be 50 lbs. total weight. I believe these to be from the 1940's and they were never converted to electric. I cannot make out what the maker's mark inside of the diamond shape says. This piece is about two inches long. I can get better measurements if needed. I assume it is bronze, but it could be a different metal, I am not entirely knowledgeable about types of metal. There is a loop on the dog's collar which may have held a leash or something. antique Brass huricane candles and dish americana style
Heavy gauge brass or cooper center piece set. Set features American eagle stamped 1776. The inside is stamped PMC 30 M. It is a cast piece. The bowl is from e.o. Brody company Cleveland Ohio. I did not polish it because I love the faded patina. But should clean up beautifully. The bowl is 8 inches the weight of the bowl is around 6lbs The huricane candles are 6 1/2 inch tall without the glass. With the glass a little over 12 inches. Estate find hamptons. Really classic American colonial style. I don't know the age. But aim guessing early fifties. I am not sure if Brody made the bases or just the glass. Collectible Antique Colonial Style Salt and Pepper Shaker, Alden Pewter No.807
These are collectible. Antique Alden Pewter No.807(as stamped on the bottom of the shakers) Colonial style salt and pepper shakers, made from 1879 to 1933 in Norway, by the Derby Silver Company. These shakers are made of a soft aged pewter and have a great patina. The shakers have not been cleaned, leaving the patina as found. The shakers are 3 1/2" tall, and were made in Norway.
