RARE Polish Poland antique LION silver plated candlesticks candle holders brass
This is an antique pair of Polish/ Russian Shabbat candle holders. They are silver plated on top of brass. This pair is very rare. And are signed by the maker FABR. WOLSKA inside each of the bobaches. I consider these to be in fine condition. Over the years I have had only a few pairs of this design. But never a pair in such condition. They have full-bodied lions on each of the four sides. The lions are facing head to head with a snake that winds itself onto each of the feet. This pair is very lightweight. Perhaps one pound each. I would say that they retain about 99% of their original plating. I cannot see any traces of brass showing through. The bobaches are original. Each has a slight wobble to them. From over the years having one or two of the feet being bent. But I hesitate to move the feet as I like to keep my antique metalware in as-is ... morecondition. They stand about 13 1/4" high. WOW! What an unusual antique this brass/bronze piece is! Two little girls on a seesaw. One holding a doll. Seesaw moves back and forth by hand. The vintage clothing and doll style show how very old this piece is. All original paint! Heavy Patina& paint loss. Selling it as I found it. There are 2 brass screws that hold each child onto their seats. One of the crews is missing from the girl with the doll. Up for sale is a beautiful pair of antique candlestick holders. I believe t hey are white brass but an old price label on the bottom lists them as pewter. They measure just under 9.5" tall and feature a very unusual clam shell base. Twisted stems and top plate with holes where you can hang prisms if you'd like. Although I love the look of these without. The y maintain an untouched patina. But I think they would polish up a bit if you want them to. There was an old glob of wa x on the top plate and when i removed it a shinier surface was discovered beneath as shown in the last photo. They show a bit of wear. And one of them doesn't sit 100% flat on the base. But overall this is an outstanding pair of antique candlesticks that would compliment any home or collection. They are unmarked. Offered for auction are these wonderful brass wall sconce candle holders. The sconces fit into the wall mountings with a pin and can be rotated to fit against the wall or stand out 90 degrees from the wall. Most of the parts unscrew and the design looks to be an older design but made in the 1800's. The sconces stand from the wall about 8" and are 7" tall. PAIR. ANTIQUE, AZTEC INDIAN, BRASS, CANDLE STICKS. Large pair of antique gilted candle sticks. Each candle stick took 7 different Brass casting to create one figurine. The bottom plate. The Aztec’s main body, staff, arrow head, two top embellishments, and the candle holder, all screw together to create one candle stick. Not including the marble base. The Marble base measures 3-5/8” x 5 ½” The overall height is 17 ½” Excellent casting with quality details. In the day were quality came before quantity. Some of the crystals do have minor chips. This is such a ornate piece that my eye is drawn to the Indian and not to a chip in the crystals.

This is a BEAUTIFUL Antique Brass Candle Holder that has been passed down in my family. It is very old. Used. Dirty. It has not been cleaned. What is striking about this piece is the Unique Wooden Circle Holder. It's small enough to pinch with your thumb and forefinger to carry the candlestick holder around. Both the saucier and the next level up. Below the candlestick hole, have grooves all around. This seems way too small for today's candlestick. The diameter would need to have been less than 1/2 inch. This is a truly unique piece and if anyone knows the era this came from. I would indeed like to know. Condition: Handed down in my family. Very old. At first. I assumed this mouse was cast iron but after inspecting the bottom of the tail, I saw tiny places where the patina has come off(4th photo) and brass shows through. This mouse is holding up a leaf that is flat and level enough to hold a votive candle. I don't know if that is its intended used and there is no sign it has been used that way, but I can't think what else it might be. There are other brass mice with leaves that were intended as candle holders, so I think it is a good guess. The patina is green, white and black. It measures about 3 5/8" tall. EARLY ANTIQUE RARE BRASS CANDLE REFLECTORS lantern Ca 1820-40 CHECKERBOARD
Offered here these rare Early 1800s exquisite Brass Georgian Candle Reflectors. It's very hard to find a pair of these together in such outstanding condition. they both swivel and tilt perfectly and the enameling on both of these is exceptional. I've seen a few singles of these and the enameling is almost always worn or non existent. No damage to these, fittings are tight and no cracks and they have light wear from use as you would expect. these are hand wrought and hand hammered and the craftsmanship is beautifully done. In picture 3 at about the 11 o'clock position you can see the file marks of the maker, these are 100% correct and guaranteed antique. They measure 6 1/2 tall in tilted position and surface area across the top measures 4" These were used together with a candle to reflect light so the person could read, write ... moreor sew or whatever task they were doing that required more light. Here is an old brass spiral candlestick in excellent condition. The single spiral was either hand forged or cast and has a rustic look but is perfectly symentrical. It has a wonderful aged patina. Here. We have a stunning pair of circa 1850 Brass Candle Stick Holders from an estate home in London, Ontario. They stand 19 1/4 inches tall, on a heavy base. Base is 5 1/8 inches in diameter.
