Two of the plates appear to be made of.040 brass and 2 of the plates appear to be made of thinner brass. No screws included. There is some scratches. For sale is a set of 7 matching antique push button on/off switch covers. Each is constructed of heavy. Solid stamped brass with a quality that reproductions can't match. All are of matching size but vary in surface condition. None of them have any bends or dents. Some light surface wear and scratches from storage can be found. The patina is different shades, but with some polishing all will look as good as new. Some dirt and grime may be found. I have done nothing more than dust them. 5 Antique/Vintage Brass Push Button Light Switch Cover Plates
Five switch plates; 1 three-gang. 2 two-gang, and 2 single-gang. All are brass, though one single-gang appears to have a black lacquer paint, and another appears to have a copper color when cleaned. Only one has a legible patent date: 1903(see photos) All of these covers were purchased off eBay in the last three months as part of lots. And are extras I have no further need of. They are all in good condition for their age. And sold as-is. Clean them up, or leave them in their current state for a more vintage look.

Vintage 1920s BRASS Push Button Light Switch Cover Plate!
Up for auction is this vintage 1920s brass push-button wall light switch plate. Standard size of 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches. This plate was original equipment(not a reproduction or replacement) in a never-updated northern New Jersey Colonial house built in 1925. Plate was painted on outside with Colonial green wall paint many decades ago. But paint has started to wear off. Would be easy to remove the rest of it to restore original brass finish. Includes four original brass mounting screws. Plate is in good used condition. A nice vintage item if you're restoring an older home or replacing missing fixtures. I have two other similar plates from the same home listed; will combine shipping. Buyer pays shipping via USPS bubble mailer. Sale final, as is. NO international shipping. They have nicks, scratches, and paint on them, the single hole cover has threads in the hole, one of the 4 1/2 X 4 1/2 covers is a heavy machined cover, one of the toggle covers the toggle slot is 3/4" the other 2 are 7/8" I tried to show there condition with the pictures.
