The silver lid is not marked that it's silver so I'm not 100% sure if it is silver or a silver tone color. The lid has it's original patina and cosmetic wear. The approx. size with lid on 2" tall and the lid is 3"7/8 round. Glass is 3"3/4 round. Theres is not chips or cracks in the glass but does show some tiny bubbles and some tiny splay marks. The silver lid does show some patina staining, darkening spots and some kind of spot on the top which you can see in the photos. The Sliver lid needs a cleaning which I leave up to you. For more detail;s please look at the photos because the perfume Container that you see in the photos will be the item that you will be receiving. Theres no ... moremarking telling me where or when the item was made, So if I would take a guess it would be pre-1940s but this only a guess. For sale an Early 20th Cent. Art Nouveau style Sterling Silver and Glass Perfume Bottle in excellent condition. Item comes from my Great-Grandmother's estate. She was the sole owner of this lovely artifact. Stands 5' x 11' at it's widest point, this gem has not been cleaned or altered in anyway. I have posted a number of pics. per the maker's mark; there are two sets of characters. The first is either"06HM" or"OGHM. The other appears to be two different characters however they are rather worn hence difficult to read. Art Deco style Red Czechoslovakia Perfume Bottle w Enamel Decor w Dabber Stopper
This wonderful old Art Deco style perfume bottle stands 5 ½ inches tall when the long glass dabber/ stopper is in place. It is marked Czechoslovakia on the brass upper portion of the perfume bottle. The red glass bottom has a very graceful line that has a rounded top that slims down before rounding out to the 2 inch diameter bottom. The top area of the bottle is decorated in blue. Black and white enamel design with a thin black line at the top and a thick application of black at the bottom. There is a thick coating of brass that covers the top neck of the bottle in a bell shape around the neck opening. The long crystal stem of the dapper measures 5 inches long and the top is a large flat round button effect of red glass surrounded by the brass coating that edges the top of the dabber and extends downward as it meets the brass section ... moreof the bottle top. This is a very unique, old perfume bottle that is in excellent condition with no cracks or chips and no loss of enamel to the painted design. Gorgeous piece made in original historical Czechoslovakia mould. It is in an ART DECO style. Original mould 1900(pre- 1st World War) original RIEDEL MOULD. It is in excellent condition(no chips. Cracks, repairs, scratches) The bottle 1 st quality glass from Bohemia. Size: 18 cm tall(incl. stopper) 7.1 inch tall(incl. stopper) Interior is clean& perfect- no flaws Little piece of history of the the signed bottle: These perfume bottles are made from Jizerske Mountains glass. They were made in a small hidden village in Czechoslovakia. Later on taken over by DESNA glass. All of these bottles are handmade in moulds(forms) that originated from Riedel in 1908. Sadly ... moreso rare now. And difficult to get this collection. Never say never. However there are few points to consider that to get these bottles is so difficult. The moulds(forms) have been broken over the years and most of them are not available. These perfume bottles were handmade. By pressing the heated glass into the moulds. Hint: original old piece you can judge by little air bubbles in the glass(old ancestors had no posibility to push the tiny bubbles out from the mould) So little tiny bubles is not fault, however it is another sign of the genuine Czechoslovakian glass.
