It is very unique in its shape and size. ... moreI believe it is called 8 lobe or clove shape. The overlay is done in a draping floral pattern. The only marks I could find are on the outer rim. They are sterling and 151 I believe. Overall the bottle is in good to great shape. It does not appear to be missing any overlay. There are no repairs. Breaks, chips, or fleabites I could find. There is a couple dings to the sterling on the top but nothing major. It comes with what I believe is the original matching stopper. I wish I could say the condition was the same as the bottle but I can't. It appears to have been dropped a long time ago. There is a tiny corner of overlay missing that is small enough you can barely notice. I say dropped because the base of the stopper has a fairly good size chip all the way up. The edges are smooth leading me to believe it is old damage. It did not affect the beauty end of it though. It measures just under 6 1/2" tall with the stopper in and just under 4 3/4" without. The stopper itself measures about 2 5/8" long. Overall, even with the chipped stopper, it still displays beautifully and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. I am in no way an expert and try to describe things the best I can. Everything I sell is sold in as is condition as it was found. Please look at all pics for a better description. As I buy things to resell from different places. I cannot guarantee them to be from a pet/smoke free home. If you have any questions please feel free to ask before you bid. Here for auction is a beautiful blue silver-overlay Murano glass perfume bottle. It is 5 1/2" high. 3 1/2" wide and 2 1/2" deep. A label is affixed to the bottle reading: argento 925 G.O.N. which means silver 925 and? The flowery decorations typicall of the Art Nouveau movement that happened 1900-1940 and well executed by italian artisans. This piece has minor wear to the silver galvanized overlay with some minor glass abrasions. Atomizer top is missing. This is a beautiful artistically rendored piece that would fit in any collection of fine glass.

And is done very much in that style. The bottle is covered entirely with a thick layer of silver, with none of the interior glass visible from the outside, unlike most silver overlay bottles. The silver is fantastically engraved with iris flower designs, done in a flowing, sinuous style. This iris motif is continued on the silver of the stopper as well. The leaves and stems of the irises form an oval cartouche on the side of the bottle, which has never been monogrammed. Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Overlay Cranberry Perfume Bottle w/Stopper
You are bidding on a beautiful early 1900's Antique Art Nouveau Dark Cranberry Perfume Bottle with intricate silver lace decoration surrounding the entire bottle and a silver heart stopper. There is a silver cartouche with a fancy capital letter"D" engraved in the center of it. The word"STERLING" is stamped on the opposite side of the cartouche on one of the lower silver laces. Hard to see with the naked eye but it is visible. The bottle is in excellent condition except for some internal hairlines on one side of the inter neck of the bottle which we believe happened from the heat of the silver when it was being applied, there are no other defects. We do not believe the silver heart stopper is an original stopper to the bottle because most the bottles and stoppers we've seen on Ebay look like each other, at least ... morein this style, but it is a very nice stopper and it inserts into the bottle very well. The measurements of the bottle are: 2-9/16" tall, 2-1/16" wide. The measurements of the stopper are: 2" tall, 3/8" wide. With the stopper inserted in the bottle they are: 3-15/16" tall. This one of a kind antique perfume bottle is 4 1/8" tall with the stopper in& 2 3/4" tall with the stopper out. The stopper is 2 1/8" long which also has sterling silver overlay. The sterling silver overlay has the initials S.J. 3 hallmarks which I can not make out what they are. I could not find out who made the bottle or who the master silver smith was.The sterling silver is not marked sterling or 925. I had it tested& it is sterling. Looking at the bottom of the bottle you can see it is hand blowen. There are no chips or cracks. IT TRULEY IS A WORK OF ART. Shipping is $10.00. With insurance.

I believe it is German made. It is hallmarked as shown in the last photo. I do not know the fineness of the silver. The glass bottle has no chips. Cracks or staining. There are a couple shallow flakes on the fitting edge of the stopper. A pretty piece fresh from a central Connecticut home and new on the market. Up for bids is an antique Art Nouveau style perfume bottle. It is made of glass with sterling silver overlay. I believe it is called squat shaped. The overlay is done in a very beautiful floral/leaf pattern. Overall the bottle is in good to great condition. As far as I could tell there is no loss of sterling. Repairs, or cracks/chips/breaks to the glass. The only mark I could find on it is Sterling. There is some minor residue inside from whatever was in it years ago. Also the sterling has a couple minor dings on the rim. It has a place for a monogram that is clear and ready for your personalization. It comes with its original matching stopper. The hand blown stopper would be in great shape if it wasn't for the one chip as seen in the pics. Antique Gorham Silver Overlay Glass Perfume Bottle --1871-- almost 6 inches tall
This auction if for a lovely antique Gorham silver overlay glass perfume bottle which was left to me by my dad's great aunt when she passed in 1998 at the age of 90. We believe this belonged to her mother. I have kept it with me over the years but never used or decorated with it. Its time for some one else to enjoy it. The bottle bears the Gorham's Lion- Anchor- G mark on the silver near the bottom(visible in photo. The silver is also marked with"D1558" From what I have researched. The letters indicate the year in which the piece was made. According to the website.925-1000.com the letter D indicates the year 1871. Please, I am in no way an expert on silver or Gorham. I have researched as best I can so that I may list this item as accurately as possible. I do not have expert knowledge and am only going based on what I was ... moreable to learn during researching. The condition of the bottle is as you would expect for its age. Unfortunately there are some cracks in the glass. There is a U shaped crack on the back of the bottle. There are some cracks on the interior of the neck of the bottle that are not visible unless the stopper is out. There is also a small flea bite in the glass on the bottom ridge of the stopper. None of these flaws are visible when the bottle is on display. I tried my best to picture them in the last three photos. The silver is in nice shape with a rich. Beautiful patina. The silver design creates lovely flower shapes over the glass. The height of the bottle, including the stopper, is almost 6 inches. The measurement around the widest part of the bottle is about 10.5 inches. The width of the bottom is about 2.5 inches. The width of the top of the stopper is a little over 2 inches. The bottle including the stopper weighs 15 ounces; just an ounce shy of 1 pound. Please view all of the photos as they are part of the description. Difficult to photograph but the latter two pictures represent my best effort. One adjacent tiny chip by overlay. Stopper in perfect condition and number matches to number on bottom as shown. 3.25 inches in diameter at bottom; 3.75 inches tall. Bottle displays beautifully, and if perfect would be worth many times the starting price.

Art Nouveau silver overlay glass perfume bottle and stopper circa 1910
This is a good example of the decorative perfume bottles being made during the early years of the 20th century in the Art Nouveau style. Please note there is some corrosion around the stopper and a small chip shown in the 3rd photo. The silver on the bottle needs polished but I will leave that to the buyer. Stands 6.75" tall with the widest diameter of the bottle at 4.5" Really a beautiful piece. Florida residents please add 7% sales tax.

Antique Perfume Scent Bottle - Art Nouveau -Sterling Silver Overlay 925

The stopper is broken(as seen in pics) but does not affect the display when the stopper is"in" also as seen in the pictures) I also notice a small internal fracture(as seen in the pictures) Leave with patina or clean it up.it's up to you! Antique c. 1900 Floral Sterling Silver Overlay Glass Perfume Bottle
Up for bids is this Antique c. 1900 Floral Sterling Silver Overlay Glass Perfume Bottle. The bottle stands approximately 4" high and 3 3/4" at it's widest. It has a lovely shape. The beautiful sterling silver overlay floral design is exquisite and the cartouche where a monogram could be placed is not monogrammed. There is a small crack to the top rim of glass bottle which is hard to notice& covered by silver. There is also a slight bit of cloudiness to the very bottom portion of the bottle which does not detract from it at all. This is truly a nice addition to your collection. Antique Alvin Silver Overlay Perfume Bottle You are viewing a very pretty Antique ALVIN SILVER of Providence. RI Perfume Bottle. This bottle features a 999/1000 Fine Silver overlay with a floral pattern and No Monogram. The bottle measures 5 1/4" tall by approximately 2 3/4" wide. The bottom of the bottle and stopper are both marked/etched with what appears to be 50 or SO(please see photos) As stated above in the Condition Description. This bottle is in Excellent shape with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is one small. Clean"split" and slight"buckle" in the silver overlay towards the base(please see the last photo) I'm not an expert on these collectible silver overlay scent bottles. But it appears that this split could be soldered with a fairly straight forward repair. I'll leave it to the experts ... moreto determine.
