Item V-11.1) Antique silver. Silver-gilt& glass combination Scent bottle& vinaigrette, circa 1840, from my mother's estate. Scent bottle/vinaigrette is in very good condition, see photos to judge condition for yourself. Approx. 3 7/8" x 1 5/8" Over the course of the next twelve months or so. I will be liquidating my mother's estate to help pay for my father's healthcare. My mother collected vintage items, antiques, French items, European items, but mostly French antiques. French Signed DAUM NANCY CAMEO GLASS Perfume Scent Bottle Sterling Silver Top
We are pleased to offer this rare antique original French signed Daum Nancy cameo glass perfume scent bottle travel decanter. It has a hinged. Sterling silver, attached top and the original acid etched crystal stopper. This is an estate fresh piece and we have not attempted to clean or polish it. It features a river valley scene with conifers. Perhaps an early spring scene. It also has beautiful Lily of the Valley flowers on the sides of the bottle. There is a dripping icicle design all along the top. Rim of the bottle and this is repeated along the top of the original stopper. Further emphasizing the early spring motif. There are 2 small French hallmarks on the sides of the sterling silver top; I can make out one which is a helmeted head in profile. The top has a vermeil gold wash on the inside. On the top of the closure is a young maiden ... moreand a floral design. The bottom of the bottle is signed in gold enamel Daum Nancy( France) along with the Cross of Lorraine. There is a small amount of loss to the decorative gold gild on the bottle and the stopper. There are no cracks or other major damage. The silver top is tight on the bottle. The closure stays closed nicely. The stopper fits well and is not loose. The stopper has some small flakes along the edge as shown in the photo. The inner top edge of the bottle has some roughness. Please note the ruler in some photos for your size reference. The bottle is approximately 3 3/4 inches tall. The end with the hinged top was actually for smelling salts. The other end with the stopper was for the perfume. The hinged cap is tight and works perfectly. It is initialed at the top. It has English hallmarks. One being the lion for Sterling. The two middle ones I can not make out. The end mark looks like the Queen. It also has makers initials JH. There are marking inside the lid but they are too small for me to see. The embossed end is screwed on. It does have one dent you can see in the photo. It also looks to have some kind of very light 1/2" seam line. Very unimportant and I almost didn't mention it because I only noticed it with magnification. The bottle still has the original ... moreglass stopper. The green faceted glass itself is in excellent condition. There are no real stretches or chips to the outside of the bottle. There are a few little chips to the inner rim of the cap side. The silver could use a little more polishing. Please check the photos carefully for all conditions and ask any questions.

This bottle is spectacuar! and in excellent condition! First thing I want to point out that it is marked sterling on the collar with a hallmark that looks a bet like a sword going thru the letter B. and numbers 8185. This is an antique jeweled bottle with faceted cut garnets that are bezel set in the metal. I do not know if the garnets are real or glass. the stones are all org. and the same color with no damage. the bottle is clear crystal with high cut ridges like a zipper design. The glass is clean clear healthy glass no residue. I really don't see any chips.but difficult to be exact with all the high cut edges. This is a chatelaine bottle and has a loop under the hinge. The hinge is in ... moreperfect working order and stays shut with a snap. The metal is dark and may also have a gold wash the inside looks like gold wash. the only thing to point out is it is missing the little glass stopper. Antique /Vintage STERLING SILVER CHATELAINE Perfume Scent Bottle DAISIES ? MOSER
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! More photos to come… Up for auction is a beautiful art glass chatelaine with repousse sterling silver lid. I don't see a sterling mark but it did test as sterling with my home kit. It is decorated with delicate white daisies around the top half. There is still some gold highlights to the center of the daisies. I think the daisies were connected with thin gold lines but those have mostly worn away. If you hold it just right to the light you can see the faint outlines of where the gold stems were. The color of the glass is very light gray color. The glass is blown as you will notice a slight bulge toward the bottom tip. The very tip has been smoothed to a gentle point. I only found 1 nibble to the glass but is it among the daisies and hard to find. You will have ... moreto inspect it closely. I could not get it to show up when photographed. There is also a small. Shallow chip along the rim inside the lid which I think you can see in the photos. The sterling lid is hinged and the hinge is in excellent condition. The lid snaps closed and there is a little ring under the hinge for connecting to a chatelaine. I note a few tiny dents to the lid, nothing major. The bottle is very clean with just a tad of sediment or dust inside. It is 4 1/2 inches long/tall and about 3/4 inches wide up at the top, just under the lid. This lovely antique perfume bottle is made of sterling silver and cut glass. The top features a large emerald colored crystal and there are 5 emerald colored crystals around the sides. Below the cap. The rim is marked Sterling and has a‘B’ with a sword through it which is a trademark for Blackington& Co. It is also marked with the number 8185. The lid closes with a snap and there is no stopper. The piece is in excellent condition and measures approximately 4 and 1/4 inches in length. The hand-cut glass is exquisite. The Victorian perfume bottle likely dates back to around the 1880’s and would be a nice addition to a collection or a nice piece to start a collection. This auction has no reserve.

Vintage Art Nouveau Sterling Silver Overlay Crystal Glass Perfume Scent Bottle
Up for sale is this gorgeous perfume bottle with the stopper. This is made of a crystal glass with a Sterling Silver overlay design in the Art Nouveau style. It is marked"sterling" The piece measures 4 1/2” tall and 1 5/8” wide. It is in wonderful condition with no chips. Cracks, repairs or damage other than the tiny dings to the silver in the stopper and some shrinkage to the cork(which can be replaced, I leave that up to the collector) This is a super pretty piece and somewhat unusual since it has the pierced/open stopper. Antique Emerald Glass With Sterling Silver Overlay Scent Bottle. I am pretty sure this is an Alvin. But the name Alvin does not appear on the bottle. There are some very hard to read inscriptions which appear to say patented 70 and 99 fine. The stopper has small chips and the bottom shows age appropriate wear. But the piece is in excellent condition. Also there are numbers; 069 crossed out and 717 same with the stopper. The bottle is 4.25" tall by 2.5" wide.

REDUCED! ANTIQUE CUT GLASS CRYSTAL SCENT/PERFUME BOTTLE WITH STERLING TOP
Up for auction from my grandmother's estate is a very beautiful. Cut glass crystal clear perfume bottle with a Sterling Silver screw on dome shaped top. There are no chips or cracks in the glass and the crystal is shiny and clear(no cloudiness or wear whatsoever to the glass) The sterling top could be polished, but I did not polish as I liked the antique look to it. The screw dome top has a very small slit where it screws on to the bottle, but I tested it out and it does not leak with water in it. It is so small that you cannot even see it when the cap is on and it also screws on with ease and no damage to the sterling rim of the bottle. This perfume bottle measures 5 1/2 inches from the top of the dome lid to the bottom. Antique Scent Bottle (Poison?)~~Hallmarked Sterling Floral Lid~Early Dutch
This is a confusing little item.the crystal glass body makes me think of an early poison bottle. With a sharp pattern of short and long mitred cuts around the entire piece, but the repousse floral lid is just too pretty to be used for poison.so I've included"scent bottle" in the title. The hallmarks were also a mystery-the right-facing lion and Gothic letter indicate a Dutch piece, made somewhere around 1900, but then there's the anchor and the word STERLING. Also impressed on the lid is S 2270. Lots of marks for such a little piece! The bottle measures 3 3/8" tall and 1 1/8" long across the flat, finished bottom. The lid does not come off-there are no threads visible for unscrewing it-but opens and closes easily with a gentle snap. Repousse lid has a floral pattern all around at the sides and blank top, left open ... morefor engraving. Because of the lion and letter hallmarks and the flat, finished bottom, I think this piece might be European in origin, but I'm not an expert and invite you to take a close look at the pics and ask for more if you need.
