Ornate Silver Overlay Etched Glass Perfume Bottle
An ornate silver overlay etched glass perfume bottle. The bottle measures 6" high to the top of the stopper. The silver is in excellent condition with little if any wear to the detail. I believe it is German made. It is hallmarked as shown in the last photo. I do not know the fineness of the silver. The glass bottle has no chips. Cracks or staining. There are a couple shallow flakes on the fitting edge of the stopper. A pretty piece fresh from a central Connecticut home and new on the market. VINTAGE ART DECO FRENCH MINATURE PERFUME BOTTLE SILVER ORNATE CASE W/TURQUOISE
This small bottle is 1 3/8" x 7/8" and weighs 9.8 grams it is made of glass with a silver plated floral design casing. There is silver loss on one side of the bottle I have taken close up pictures in different lighting to show the loss. The bottle is stamped made in France on the bottom. The top of the bottle has a turquoise bead wrapped in filigree and the dabber is made of blown glass. There are no chips. Cracks. scratches or flea bites on the glass of the bottle including the dabber. The bottle screws on evenly and is secure enough to fill will perfume and put in your purse the flower and diamond shaped filigree is bonded on the bottle in a way that protects the glass from breaking. I am selling a Beautiful Glass and Metal Perfume Bottle. The metal appears to be pewter. But unsure if it is. Unique purple swirled glass body has ornate metal decoration around the top opening. The crown-shaped handle top comes off to reveal a dauber wand for applying the perfume. The metal collar at the top of the bottle unscrews to allow refilling the bottle with your favorite scent. The bottle measures 5 3/8" tall over the dauber handle and the bottle body is 2 1/4" in diameter. The top crown shape is 2 1/8" wide and 1 1/2" tall. Obtained at an estate sale, but unsure of age. Made from thick milk glass, and have ornate detailing done in high relief. they each have dimensional stylized lion heads with exquisite scroll detailing. they each have large removable matching stoppers which have matching heavily embossed detailing. they are in nice condition and each measures 9 1/4 inches tall by 6 inches wide. the stoppers have small chips on the part that goes inside the bottle so are hidden. refer to last photo. very nice quality bottles. Victorian Perfume Bottle Silver And Glass With Ornate Cap Hallmarks
This is a very beautiful Victorian/Edwardian glass and silver perfume bottle with ornate silver work. This bottle is in good condition. The lid snaps into place and the hinge works well. There are No chips or cracks in the glass bottle. The silver work on the bottom is not symmetrical. There are two hallmarks in the silver decorative area on the neck of the piece. But they are tiny and I can't find them in my research. You can see them under a microscope but I can't capture them with my camera. I believe this is an old. Rare bottle but I'm no expert.
