It's held tight inside by a thin coating of cork inside the bottle cap(which is brass) I can find no damage on this awesome piece. The top of the brass cap is marked Germany(hard to see but it's definitely there) It could use a little cleaning which I have not attempted. But the one's you will recieve are dried and cracked, you will need to use two working bulbs. They are of similer size- approx. 4" x 4" and should hold at least 6 oz. of perfume. Vintage. Amber Glass, Bulb-less Atomizer, Perfume Bottle Made in West Germany and Imported by Irving W. Rice Company(Irice) This is a very light weight amber glass perfume bottle/bulb-less atomizer. It has a lovely amber color stone at the top which may be glass but I am not 100% positive of its material composition. It does look very pretty with the amber glass bottle. This stone is surrounded by non-glass beads(some type of plastic? The top screws onto the bottle easily and securely. The stone and beads combine into a beautiful flower top with delicate metal holding the top amber color stone in place. Measures approximately 4 inches in height(with top on) and just about 2-1/2 inches in width(at center point) Atomizer pumps air easily but I have never put perfume in it. The overall condition of this vintage perfume bottle is very good. It ... moreonly has a little dust deep in the beaded top because I dust my vanity items very lightly due to their delicate nature. Original blue foil/paper label is attached on the bottom. It indicates that it was imported by the Irving W. Rice Company(New York) and that it was Made in West Germany. My research found that Irice bottles made in West Germany. With plastic daubers, were made around the 50's. I have loved it for its beauty and simplicity and just learned more about Irice recently. I envision this little bottle being given as a gift or perhaps they saved their hard earned money just to buy this one special bottle- what joy they must have felt. It is very pretty and can now be a part of your vintage perfume bottle collection and maybe find a home on your vanity tray. Post WWII 1947-1949 era WESTERN GERMANY Frosted Baby Blue Ball Perfume Atomizer Bottler. Aurora Borealis Glass Rhinestones prong-set on top. Two AB crystals replaced and one teal tear-drop crystal replaced with an amethyst crystal. All parts present. The tube is blocked. There is some oxidation on the bottle's brass collar. The Rhinestone Flower top is tiled somewhat which originates at the cap. The flower top can be unscrewed as shown in the photos. Bottle is 3" diameter. The blue color is graduated from darker at the bottom to lighter at the collar. Brass setting has an oval tag underneath"WESTERN GERMANY" All rhinestones are prong-set. Atomizer is 4 1/2" tall. This is a lovely crystal perfume bottle made by Enesco. I had bought this at an estate auction. It was made in West Germany. And has the label still in tact, which leaves me to believe that it probably was never used. I think it looks like a deco style bottle, but I don't think it is that old. Features a ground glass fan shaped stopper, and almost a trophy style body. Measures about 2.75" wide and 4.25" tall. Label says it is 24% lead crystal. The sides are a pretty pastel pink color~undoubtedly hand painted. There i s hand painted gilt around the top opening as well as on each panel. The blown glass stopper is from Murano. Italy~one I bought a few years back on a journey to Venice& Murano, Italy. It is a new one(not old like the bottle) fits the top perfectly. Stamped on the very bottom porcelain is" Bavaria" Last photo. This sweet bottle has no chips. Flakes, cracks or damage anywhere. Antique / Vntg RAINBOW GLASS Perfume Bottle Golden Atomizer WEST GERMANY ~ IRICE
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a fantastic rainbow glass perfume bottle. This bottle is spectacular in brighter lighting with it's intricately cut pattern. There are no many edges it sparkles from every angle. The entire bottle top to bottom is in excellent. Nearly mint, condition. I can't say"mint" as I did find one pin-prick size nip to an edge but you won't find it easily. No chips, cracks or repairs other than the one teeny nibble. The bottle has a thick clear glass layer on the outside and the swirled, colorful layer is on the inside. This makes a nice effect and you can probably see this most easily from the bottom. The jeweled topper is in perfect condition. it has all it's prong set rhinestones and faceted beads- nothing missing! There is no ... moretag or stamp on this bottle but the underside of the topper is stamped"W. Germany" so I am 99% certain it is an older Irice bottle from West Germany. I don't know why but they seemed to make the most pretty jeweled toppers. It is very clean inside and out. The plastic syphon tube is intact. The royal blue bulb is new and when squeezed you will feel puffs of air escape from the sprayer. There is a faint smell of perfume. I love the star pattern cut into the bottom ~ but it can make it appear that there are cracks along the bottom edge- that is not the case. It is just the lighting and the cut of the glass creating this illusion. Holding it up to the light and looking through the bottom is like looking through a kaleidoscope! It is 5 inches tall to the highest part of the topper and the base is 2 1/8 inches in diameter. You will really be more amazed& pleased to see this beauty in person! 4 1/4 inches tall x 1 1/2 inches square. This is in great condition. Glass bottle with 24 Kt gold plated lid and handle topper. Original stamp is still on the bottom.
