Offered is a lovely vintage signed"La Castillere" etched glass miniature perfume bottle. It is intact with the original dauber and without perfume. Nice and clean and no chips. It is in really good overall condition. Just minor wear appropriate with age. Please look at pictures for item description. I am happy to answer any questions. It is made in France and dates probably to the 20's-40's. It measures 2-1/2" in length and about 3/4" wide and about 1/2" at the sides. This is a beautiful little perfume bottle! It stands 2 3/4 inches tall with the top on. It is about 3/8 inches wide. 1/2" deep. The Florentine filigree cap(included in height measurement) is 3/4" tall. The top screws on, and has a glass dauber attached to it. This gem is in perfect undamaged condition! The glass beautifully finished polished. The front& the back of the bottle is hand enameled with royal blue flowers& green foliage. The bottom of the bottle says it was"Made in France" LA CASTILLERE. There is another mark on the base that I cannot quite tell what it is. But it appears to be an upside down T with a P directly on top of the T. Or vice versa. Miniature Perfume Bottle Blown Amethyst Glass Florentine Cameo Cherub Decoration
This is a lovely antique miniature perfume bottle. The small bottle is made of mouth blown amethyst glass. The florentine cameo decoration is a very thin applied layer of pure white encircled with raised gold scrolls. On top of the white enameling are two chubby. Winged cherubs embracing as they float among the soft pale blue clouds. On the reverse side are raised gold scrolls. The flip cap of the bottle is brass with an attached beaded chain and ring which could be placed on the finger or suspended from a chatelaine. The glass dauber is intact but the tip of the dauber is missing. The bottle is in excellent condition and there is no damage to the brass.
