BLUE SATIN GLASS ART DECO PERFUME BOTTLE WITH GILT PAINTED TRIM
This is a listing for a beautiful and unusual perfume. I love the form! It has a six lobed base and a tightly conforming lobed conical cover. The area inbetween the lobes is highlighted in gilt. I feel this piece may be Czech in origin but of that I am not certain. The condition appears very good. But there are really minute chips, like nibbling, to the lower edge of the cover where it meets the base. It is a sharp edge and you can see how this would easily happen. If there was a glass dauber, it has broken. It is possible that this perfume did not have one and the piece of glass inside the cover is just there to act as a stopper for the bottle. This is an antique Ottoman(Victorian era) bohemian tiny decanter or perfume bottle. It's roughly 20 cm. high with stopper. It's made for the Ottoman market with a characteristic lemon colour with handpainted floral& slightly gilt pattern showing evident wearing consistent with its age& rendering more authentic charm. A crescent& star can be seen in the handpainting denoting it was made for the Ottoman Empire& is Turkish in origin. Item has no chips nor cracks nor any kind of restoration except for a TINY chip which i call a nick as can be seen in the first main picture on the RIGHT side of the outer circular rim of the mouthpiece where the stopper is inserted.

My mother recently inherited a whole truckload of cranberry glass all antique and I know very little about this kind of stuff but she does not have room for us so we are selling some of it. This is a glass perfume bottle and top It is marked with number or writing of some kind but I can not make out what it says may be a 39. has a sparkling gold trim( gilt enamel? with a neat pattern that also has white dots yellow& gold pattern on it. maybe hand painted. Teal and cranberry Heavy gold gilt decoration to the front Elegant bottle is fitted with brass collar and hinged lid with domed top; engraving both inside and outside top of lid. Lid fits firmly and has strong hinge. Measures approx 3" long and approx 1 1/2" across. Circa late 1800s. This is truly a gem! See similar item at(as of date of listing. Up for your consideration is a wonderful 1887 Victorian Era Gold Gilt Glass Lachrymatory/Tear-Catcher/Perfume Bottle. Tears for a loved one could be collected for a period of time. Then sprinkled over the grave site or allowed to evaporate. After this period of time, grieving could be considered complete. This little treasure is in very good antique condition. Antique spatter glass, gilt lay-down perfume bottle; Attributed to Moser, c1880s
Beautiful antique lay-down perfume/scent bottle. Circa 1880s, likely Moser. Made of beautiful white. Teal, and cranberry spatter glass with raised enamel and heavy gold gilt decoration to the front. Elegant bottle is fitted with brass collar and hinged lid with domed top; beautiful engraving both inside and outside top of lid. Lid fits firmly and has strong hinge. Measures approximately 3" long and 1 1/2" across. I believe this is likely a Moser bottle. Created in the Czech Republic in the 1880s. Unsigned. Condition: Very good condition. With just a little wear to the outside top of the lid. This is truly a beautiful piece! History: Moser glass was made by a Bohemian(Czechoslovakian) glasshouse founded by Ludwig Moser in 1857.
