*** Vintage meets modern*** Stained glass window panel vintage plate
This stained glass panel is an original design of mine where I have incorporated 2 vintage plates that are about 6 inches across for each plate. The plates have a swirl pattern around a star burst in the center. There is a gold circle line around the star burst. Around the plates the glass is done in several different clear textured glass in a geometric pattern. The outside border is done in blue with white glass mix. The overall size of the panel is approximately 17 x 11. I want to note that the plates have a base about 1/2 high so the back side of the panel is not flat. This is to allow the front side to be flat to the edge of the plates where they then curve in for the plate. The panel can be hung in either direction as there rings in each corner. Stained Glass Luminarc Plate Panel Vintage Window Hanging in Ruby Red
Remember the days when you got something free? Remember the juice glasses that came with jelly or peanut butter? Well. Those days might be gone, but the past can be revisited! This plate is the same pattern as those old peanut butter glasses! Manufactured by Arc International, this pattern's history starts in 1948. The pattern is called Luminarc. And it simply sparkles in the sunlight. The ruby red shines(though the photos don't really show it well) with the frosted glass providing definition. The purple accent glass coordinates wonderfully with the look and texture of the plate while the decorative soldering brings the eye where it belongs- to the center! Greetings! Up for sale is my lovely leaded glass window with a flower design. It measures 22.25" wide x 18" high. And has to modern hooks in the top to suspend it in your window. I'm not sure of the age, I just know I've had it for ages! There's no damage to the glass or design, and the wooden frame seems to be unfinished. At each corner there is a dark metal staple of sorts that keeps each side together, kind-of spanning the cornices if you will. They are hardly noticeable, but then if you want a detailed picture just ask because every person will have a different opinion on this. Feel free to email with other questions as well. Auction is for the stained glass window shown. This was originally a swinging door and the top was cut off from the bottom. The old door is 2 3/4" thick and the outside measurements are 24" X 60" The inside measurements. exposed glass) are 15" X 50 1/2" Many beautiful colors plus two sections of clear glass beveled on one side(center) I examined this glass very closely and can find no cracks in it. There are many natural markings to the glass. But I found no cracks. I have 3 more of these but this is the only perfect one. Pick-up in Hazleton, Pa. always welcome, or I will ship UPS. 2 Primitive Vintage Painted Glass in Wooden frames. They are 16" x 13" These were in my Grandmother's house when I was a child(I am 39 now) and not sure how long she had them or where she got them. Some of the paint is chipped off but they are still very nice and very primitive. I believe the wood frames are oak. But could be wrong. Here are 2 vintage stained glass window panels with leaded zinc around the glass. The panels are 2 different sizes. The 1 size is about 23" long x 10" wide and the other one is about 25.5" long x 10 1/4" wide. The glass has a blue, light pink and light beige color. The pattern is clear glass circles with a blueish nipple like in the middle. The windows do have some corrosion and rust on the leaded zinc part. On the smaller window 3 of the outside glass panels would need to be secured with the metal. On the larger panel there is a crack, that appears as it was glued. Nice glass panels for any project. The outside without the metal bar looks to have some type of cement or something splashed on it. Inside with the metal bar looks good. Vintage Leaded Stained Glass Window with 108 Mouth Blown Glass Rondels This magnificent 51 ½” x 65” stained glass window has 108 blown-glass rondels in vibrant colors of cobalt blue. Ruby red, amethyst, and rich yellow/amber. The background glass sections are each textured amethyst. These rich jewel colors are brilliant on a sunny day or with background electrical illumination. The design is such that the window can be used vertically or horizontally and would enhance many architectural styles or decorator themes. The window and frame are very sturdy, so ask your builder if it might be incorporated as a focal point in new construction or as part of a renovation/restoration project. The window would also make an eye-catching room divider if properly supported. Of course, it could also be leaned against the wall of an existing window, ... moreas pictured in the photograph. Measurements for the entire framed window: approximately 50 ½” x 65” Measurements for the glass that is visible: approximately 47” x 61” The leaded encased rondels measure approximately 4 ½” in diameter. The visible glass of each rondel is approximately 3 ¾” diameter. All of the rondels are in excellent condition, as is the leading. I found only two amethyst sections with hairline cracks. Included in the sale of this window are a few extra rondels and pieces of amethyst. I’ve been told by an artisan that the beauty of the vintage glass and quality of workmanship make this window a rare value and that if made today, materials(non-vintage) alone come close to the price of this window. The window in the photograph is the exact one being sold. Bows and a wine glass decorate this fine piece of artwork. I have never seen a piece like this anywhere. Even in the stain glass museum at Navy Pier. There was a story that it came from an 1800 era brothel in Chicago, well that is what was whispered among the family when I was a child and then told to me by my grandfather when he thought I was old enough to know what a brothel was.
