Lovely Arts and Crafts Trumpet/Tulip Vase. This piece is finely hand-hammered out of fairly heavy-gauge brass and has some very fine planishing in the workmanship-it has a mellow brass copper patina with just a touch of sienna and a smidgen of earth green. It is 7 1/4inch high.The mouth of the vase and the base/foot of the piece are both an equal 4 inches across.I'm no expert but i have owned some old A&C Metalwork-a couple of Van Erps and two Roycrofts,and as a as a guesstimate i'd say this piece was at least pre 1940's and most likely 20's-30's or before.There are no cracks or noticeable dings,soldering on bottom seems fairly tight. This piece is unsigned and was probably created at a Vocational School or by someone in an apprenticeship program.

Finely detailed with classical harvest motifs. Heavy gauge brass or cooper center piece set. Set features American eagle stamped 1776. The inside is stamped PMC 30 M. It is a cast piece. The bowl is from e.o. Brody company Cleveland Ohio. I did not polish it because I love the faded patina. But should clean up beautifully. The bowl is 8 inches the weight of the bowl is around 6lbs The huricane candles are 6 1/2 inch tall without the glass. With the glass a little over 12 inches. Estate find hamptons. Really classic American colonial style. I don't know the age. But aim guessing early fifties. I am not sure if Brody made the bases or just the glass. There are many similarities to the work of The Roycroft Shop. The inside was lined with red and green bakelite panels possibly at a later date. This is a pair of vintage heavy brass chunky candlesticks which were made by Sudbury for church purposes. They are 10 1/4" tall with squared tiered bases that are 5 1/2" wide. They are offered in"as found" condition with dark tarnish. Bits of old candle wax and some verdigris discoloring. One still has its underpad which looks like it might be made of fiberboard with a red felt covering.which is shabby and faded and there is a center metal round tag which identifies it as"Sudbury Church Worship Aids SB 151C Sundbury Brass Goods Co. Inc. The other candlestick is missing the underpad but this one has etching on one side on three of the tiers which read, In Memory Of" Royce N. Goan" 1922-1962" So from that I would date these from the 1960s but they have a great Deco appeal in design. They could be cleaned ... moreup and polished but I decided to offer them this way because the old patina can be just what some people prefer. There is an opening that goes all the way from the top down through to the base which would make these great for creating electric table lamps. These are pretty awesome and impressive candlesticks. Rare In Orig Box McKinney 696 Dull Nickel Mission Style Solid Brass Mailbox Rare In Orig Box McKinney 696 Dull Nickel Mission Style Solid Brass Mailbox With Paper Hangers and Brass Mounting Screws This Beautiful Hammered Mission Style Antique McKinney 696 Solid Brass Mailbox in a Dull Nickel finish is a rare find. Especially in the original box. It measures 10 1/8" H x 7 1/8" W x 2 3/8" D at the back of the mailbox without the paper hangers attached. It also has the plastic insert behind the front window on the mail access door. Which is almost always missing when finding one of these mailboxes. We aren't really sure how old this mailbox is. A hard to read cloth price tag was also in the box and is included. Through our inspection, we have concluded that the tag is from Sewell Hardware of West Palm Beach, Florida that is ... morestill in business and has been since 1924. The people we obtained this mailbox from where from that area; so it makes since that this mailbox most likely came from the store listed on the tag. The price on the tag itself has faded, making it unreadable. The original brass mounting screws in the original opened envelope along with the optional newspaper hangers in paper wrap are included. Although being in almost like new condition it does have some dings and patina in areas along with some fine spot rust. J udging by no apparent screw marks on the inside of the mailbox; it appears to have never been hung. However. For some reason, the original holes on the back side of the mailbox(see photo) have been enlarged. Possibly it was done for display reasons in a hardware store or some other type of preparation for hanging it. One mounting hole is pushed in a bit from the back. This can be seen from the photos. The knob that latches the door doesn't turn all the way to be a 180 degrees horizontal when latching the door. However. It does latch tightly. Antique Trophy Style Copper And Brass Russian Samovar. Nice!!
Here we have an Antique Russian Samovar. This is a trophy style Samovar with a hand hammered copper urn attached to a brass base. I cannot find any markings on the Samovar to denote maker. We recently assisted a friend of the family relocate an elderly lady of Russian decent to assisted living and this is one of 2 Samovars we purchased from her. I am not an expert on such items so only relating what she told us about the item. She believes it is from the late 1800's. Either 1880's or 1890's. As I mentioned the urn itself appears to be made from hand hammered copper. The urn is mounted on a heavy brass footed base. Considering it's age, this Samovar is in very good condition. Antique 19th Century Ornate Victorian Style Brass Letter Rack Stationary Holder
Available for auction is a wonderful brass letter rack with hand painted ceramic tile insert. The rack is obviously pre 20th century and features an ornate design depicting scrollwork and mythological creatures. There are no markings found on the holder. But I am guessing it is likely European. The ceramic insert looks vaguely art nouveau and also shows gold enamel details. The holder measures 8.5" inches tall and 9" inches long. It looks really great with a nice patina. The only apparent damage is a slightly bent rear leg. It is quite a grand and fabulous piece. Good luck!

A set of three matched elegant early 18th century English columnar brass and/or bronze candlesticks(See Michaelis figure 170. P.116) A rare type. These are not often seen and their dished bases both collect wax and shine wonderfully with candles. Nine inches tall and four inches across the base. They may have had bobeches, but work fine without them. They make a fantastic set!
