Snake shaped bracelet on her arm, PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR GREATER DETAILS. There is a name on the front of the bench Schane werk? could be the artist's name or a title? and what looks like a number S926? Could this possibly be a Clock Topper? I think this was hand made. Not casted, this is almost entirely made of copper, just her arms are made of brass, this was made in 2 sections. Architectural Piece Three Ladies Women Metal Lamp Base Statue Figure Harvesting
I picked this up at an estate auction. 6 1/2" tall x 3" wide metal statue that was once a lamp base. You can see the hole through the top for the rod. I will start on the woman in the first picture. Over her shoulder are tethered a goose and rabbit. There are holes in the shoulder area and down by the animals. This area looks like it might have had some repair or it's still just deteriorating with many holes. The second lady that this area involves has sheaths of wheat at her side. The third lady has her hair covered and four fish slung and tied over her right arm. She has that white and rust metal by her shoulder and ear. And under the fish. By her left ear there is either pitting or more holes very tiny. Like I said in the title. I think of this as more of a shelf piece or on a desk. It looks old and neat. IT is of a Young Man standing against a TREE TRUNK with what is probably suppose to be a Quill Pen in one hand and a Pad on the other.he is looking down at what he just wrote.maybe a poem poet?
