Here is a vintage hammered copper pot Made in Germany. It has three feet and a cast iron twisted handle. It measures approximately 3 1/2" tall from the top of the lip of the pot to the bottom of its feet and and 3 1/2" across the top opening. Antique 19th C. French Copper Ladle/Saucepan/Pot with Spout and Wood Handle In this listing we offer a unique 19th Century copper pot with a spout and a copper& turned wood handle. It may have been used as a saucepan. Ladle or pot. For the three years our family lived in Paris. France in the very early 1960's. We usually went out for a drive outside the city on Sunday afternoons. My parents' purpose was not to go shopping. But to get their children out into the lovely countryside once a week. On one occasion. However, we stopped in a small town where there was an interesting little antique store. My parents saw a set of ten copper pieces. Some of which matched and some of which did not. And were told by the shopkeeper that everything was 19th Century French in origin- not much more than that. My parents made the poor shopkeeper ... moretake them all out back and fill them all up with water just to make 100% sure that none of them leaked, and then they bought them all. The items have never been used for cooking since. They have been hung on a wall in various places we have lived, with only a little polish once a year. Or so. This piece is one of those interesting pots. Most of which my parents have decided to place on the market at this time. This beautiful piece is in very good condition. Though it would require retinning before it could actually be used for cooking. The wood handle is very slightly loose where it is joined to the copper portion of the handle by two copper round-headed nails. A triangular plate with three rounded projections is attached to the pot by three copper rivets. And the handle is soldered to this with brass. The underside of the copper portion of the handle shows a brass soldered seam. There is a little green oxidation on the inside of the pot. Please note: This pot does not stand flat on its own and I am certain it never did. There is no evidence of scorching on the wood handle. The wire through the drilled hole at the end of the wooden handle was there when my parents b

This antique copper coffee pot or kettle is easily 125 years old. No identifying marks: it could be American. But is most likely English. Holds 5 cups if filled to the top rim. So 1 quart with room for boiling water/pouring. Tapered-form copper kettle with gently domed lid still fully water tight: lid is loose, part of hinge is missing but the pot is completely functional and can be displayed without repairing the hinge. Soldering evident in areas is possibly old repairs, possibly original fabrication. Finial has traces of what appears to be black paint: handle was likely painted black as well. Straining plate at spout base: see interior photo. Height to top of finial: about 7 3/4 inches. Diameter at base: 4 7/8 inches. Width across spout and handle: 7 1/2 inches. Weight: over 11 oz. This is a very nice pot in fantastic shape! It has the name. Mrs. Rose Shink, embeded on the underside of the handle. Measures 13 inches long to the tip of the handle. Handle itself is 7 inches long. These vintage coffee pots would make a charming Edition to one's rustic garden or living room decor. The containers have the natural patina that only comes from many years of aging. They would however shin up nicely if one chooses to do so. The measurements are 11" tall. 6.5" across the bottom, 4.5"across opening at the top, with a 8 inch handle. The weight approximately 2.5 pounds each The seems at the bottom are separated and bulging from being left out doors in winter time. Pots do not hold water. This is not necessarily a deficit if used for live plants as they will only retain a small amount of water in the very bottom of the pot. I think a cactus would look wonderful in each one. This kettle retains its beauty unlike most that are seen of this age. I believe it was used over a hearth perhaps for cooking apple butter etc. The handle is so sturdy and is a work of art, please see closeup photos. The seam down one side is dovetailed, the large eyelets that hold the handle are fastened with rivets that are hand made, very secure. The kettle is 6 inches wide, 5 1/4" tall. The pot is in very good used condition as seen in the photographs with no major dents or problems. It has dove tailed sides and a bottom as seen in the photographs and the rivets look hand hammered. It is approx. 5" to the top of the rim and approx. 8 1/2" to the top of the handle and 5 1/2" in diameter at the bottom. It is quite heavy and I will give a shipping refund to Canadian and International buyers after shipping if the cost of shipping, tracking and insurance is less than posted. This is a beautiful old hand forged Swedish hammered copper kettle. It stands on 3 iron legs with an iron handle and has a gooseneck spout. The top has a curled ribbon finial. Representative of the King's crown, and typical of all Swedish copper kettles. This kettle was purchased in Sweden in the 1950's and never used. It is like new, tin lined, hammered copper detail, 100% hand forged. It is a beautiful and rare piece, one we hate to part with. Antique French Brass Chocolate Pot With Side Handle
Measuring 10 1/2" x 10 1/2" with handle) this piece has a nice patina and is in good condition. I can't find any makers mark. It has nice detail at the spout and hinge. Although the form is earlier I think this piece dates to the second half of the 19th century. Measures about 9" in diameter at the widest point, 7 3/4" in diameter at the top. 5 3/8" high not including the handle. To the top of the handle it is about 9 1/2" high. Total weight is 2.84 pounds. This pot is in good condition, it has not been cleaned or restored-it has typical aging and tarnish, the patina is very nice. It is fairly symmetrical considering it is hand-made, it has some expected uneven areas in the handle and elsewhere. I have posted 12 photos, all are of the actual item I am selling here.
