Others are for women. Including a beautiful wedding bonnet. I have show this doll's bonnet on a 50cm Armand Marseille bisque headed doll, and it fits her perfectly. I have not laundered the bonnet, as it would be wise to remove the silk ribbons before doing so, and sew them back on afterwards. I can find no damage or breaks in the lace, though the original silk ribbons are beginning to fray, and you may choose to replace them. Lovely froth of Valenciennes lace and silk, with lace and embroidered inserts. Pretty, and just perfect if you have an antique doll to dress. More photographs below. Pr Partial Nude Lady French Bronze Figures 19th Century 14" Tall & 11 Lbs Each
Here we have a pair of fabulous 19th Century French bronze figures. Both figures are of a partial nude motif. They are large and very heavy. Each figure stands aprox 14 inches tall. One figure has a weight of over 11 pounds and the other just under 11 pounds. There is a copy of an appraisal that comes with these figures. The appraisal was from 1972 and can be viewed in last picture. Back then they were appraised for $350. 42 years ago. For being about 140 years old they are in good antique condition. They were gilded at some point but most of that is worn. The finish shows a lot of wear, but I feel that just adds to these gorgeous ladies. True antique bronzes you dont see every day. Thank you.

PAIR ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH BRONZE ORMOLU FLOWER CANDLESTICKS CANDELABRA
We are pleased to offer this wonderful. Old, antique pair of candlesticks. This petite pair dates to the 19th century. They are a beautiful representation of French ormolu. They are Rococo in style and feature very detailed and ornate design. The pair are gilt bronze which has a nice thickness. They have beautiful bases with"plant stem" center columns. The stems lead to a large opened bloom that rests under the three, ascending height candle holders. The candle holders have very detailed leaves and vines that seem to wrap around them. There are two large flowers on the top sections; one faces front, the other faces the back. The candle wax drip cups are also in the form of multi petaled flowers. The pair is very ornate and extremely detailed. They are quite old and they take a smaller circumference taper candle as traditional tapers ... moreare too large to fit into the cups. The pair have screw thread that holds the cups in place and that runs down the center column. The pair are in very good condition for their age. There is some aging to the gilted patina but the pair still retain the gilted appearance. Each candelabra measures 13" tall. The bases are 4.5" wide and the top sections measure 9.5" wide. One foot forward and hip to the side. His hands are comfortably rested on the handle of his hay fork as he peers off into the distance. He is dressed for work- barefooted, shirtless, wearing a rimmed hat, with his pants rolled up and a canteen hanging from his sash. This is a high quality statue with detail down to his toenails and a flower on the ground near his foot. The statue has developed a nice patina over the years. There is a stamp on the side. The nuts underneath the statue are very old. The statue is marked CH. LEVY. The stamp on the side reads"bronze garanti au titre" and"L.V. ... moredeposee" Next to the number 5 5876. This quite small metal vase in the French neo-classical style of the Napoleon period(ca. 1800-1830) The detailing, very fine, is just like a full size vase of the Napoleon/Empire period, and the basic form, of course, is the"Medici vase" popular since the 17th century. This little gem was made at some point during the 19th century, perhaps circa 1830 or so, perhaps later in the century when the style was revived. Provenance is a recent auction at the Hotel Drouot of Paris. Dimensions are about 3.5 inches by 3 inches. There is a small dent/ metal flaw at the top rim. ANTIQUE FRENCH STYLE ENAMEL CUSPIDOR / FLOWER VASE-SIGNED-LATE 19th CENTURY
This pretty enamel piece measures 7" 17.8 cm) in height. 7" in diameter at the mouth and 5 1/4" 13.4 cm) in diameter at the base. For a piece of enamel the condition is pristine. It is a pretty, deeper blue, with hand-painted in gold rose with bud designs, a 1 inch band encircling the top, and 10 smaller thin bands. There are two sets of initials on one side between the main designs, and a five letter mark opposite the initials. All the marks are made with a stippling design. The interior and exterior are pretty much perfect. There are few tiny places under the upper rim and on the base rim where there is loss of enamel. It was probably made for use as a cuspidor, It would also make a great flower vase. The provenance of the piece explains it's great condition. I purchased it from a dealer who was featured on the cover ... morewith an article in the 1990s"Country Living" in Adamstown, Pennsylvania. He had inherited a warehouse of unused enamel from his grandparents, who had purchased a large amount of enamel pieces in the early 1900s to open a shop, but never did. Best PAIR 18th Century French Candlesticks Brass Bronze This is a great pair of 18th century candlesticks that I believe are French. It is hard to find great candlesticks like these in pairs and even harder to find them complete including the removable Bobochet. These candlesticks are made as a pair- as shown. They are marked number"1" and"2" The bases are sand cast and turned and decorated, and the stems are seamed and heavy cast in two pieces. The candlesticks measure 6 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches across the base. They are in great as-found condition. I have not polished these but I did gently remove some wax. Under the wax is some green staining that I do not believe is a light surface discoloration and can easily be cleaned off if desired. Very Good Early 18th Century 8-Inch Brass Octagonal Base French Candlestick
Hefty brass octaagonal base candlestick made in two parts and joined by a threaded piece at the base of the shaft. This one has been together so long that I cannot loosen it and do not want to apply too much force. Also note how carefully the maker finished even the underside. There is an ejector hole which was used to remove the burned stub of the candle. It is 8 inches tall. Dates from around 1720. Origin: France. The plinth of this candlestick is cast in two pieces and seamed together. is a rather large base. Measuring 4½ inches across. This is a very handsome.
