Very Unusual! 13 1/2" bottom diameter and 11" high. Wide spout. Bail handle is made of brass and has a wood grip. Another pouring handle is on the backside to grab and tilt pail. Brass label with"5"gallons) on it. Another brass label the says" Chas. G. Schenck. Columbus, O. Patented Nov. 8, 1898" S-C'15" on lip of spout- maybe this is the date this particular milk pail was made, 1915. All copper except for brass bottom band and brass bail handle. GREAT PATINA! I did not try to polish it except for a light wipe of a wet rag to get years of dust off of it. It is in very nice condition considering its age and usage- small dent on top edge and a wad of solder under spout on one side(unsure if this is how it was made or maybe the right side of the spout became loose at some time- it is a old solder) the last ... more2 pictures show these minor defects.

This is an antique etched brass tray which I recently acquired from an estate sale. The tray is quite small measuring 5 1/2" long x 3 3/4" wide excluding the handles. Antique Repousse Brass Slipper Box - Late 19th C. - 13.25" by 9 7/8" by 6 5/8"
Lovely Victorian-era slipper box with splendid repousse brass ornamentation over wood on three sides and top. The brass lid has the word"Slippers" embossed diagonally and is flanked by two very English lions; the sides has a lovely swirl pattern. Hinting at the Art Nouveau movement to come. The bottom, back side and inside lid are black tin over wood and the inside of the box is lined with faux leather paper. The box measures 12 1/8" wide(13 1/4" including the lid) by 9 1/4" deep(9 7/8" including the lid) by 6 1/8" 6 5/8" including the lid) Overall. It's in very good antique condition. The lid has some scratches indicative of its use and the inside of the box has some minor damage to the paper(see picture#XX) One of the lid's hinges is missing a screw and has some bent areas in the tin surrounding ... moreit. 1850-1899 COPPER Tin Lined Melting PAN~TRIDENT BRASS HANDLE~5.5"TOP RIM
This copper with brass handle pan is also from my personal collection. I know it is old but I do not know the exact date. The rim is rolled. Tin lined. 12" from front rim to handle. Top rim 5.25" and bottom 4.5" and 1.25"inches in depth. Hand Forged. Heavy thick copper. There is a small mark on the rim. It is in Good Condition. These small melting pots are very beautiful.
