Antique Victorian Solid Brass Beehive Candlesticks. 13' Tall. The engraving on the bottom side reads: Good Luck" with a little horseshoe in the middle. The push-ups don't work and it sure needs to be polished. These are probably from the late 1800s and once they are polished they will be a one-of-a-kind treasure. I have not seen anything like these on-line or in antique shops. I know they have been in my family for at least 90 years. They have wonderful detail and are quite heavy. If I were to clean them up. I would change my mind about selling them. I am selling them both together.

The inside of the drawers have a red floral velvet lining. One drawer is ripped up. In the center is a latch that keeps the drawers from opening. There is also a spot to put a lock to lock the latch. Because the plaque has 4 wholes. One on each side, as I show in picture#10. It has a nice old patina. Could be polished. Plaque is heavy. It weighs almost 5 lbs. A HANDSOME OLD PAIR of CAST& TURNED BRASS CANDLESTICKS of an apparently QUITE RARE FORM. VERY GOOD CONDITION with FINE OLD PATINA A dent on the bottom rim of one. Certainly fully removable. Approximately 8-1/4 inches(21 cm) high with a base diameter of 3-3/4 inches(9.5 cm) Together they weigh 2 pounds, 8.8 ounces(1156 grams) Admittedly with very little brass candlestick expertise. May 19 1896 S Sternau & Co Antique Brass Coffee Pot Burner Stand Victorian (596-
This is a piece that has been in our family for numerous years and was purchased from an antique store. It is an antique coffee pot that sits on a burner type stand. We did not keep the paperwork on this particular piece. So please forgive me as I will do my best to describe it. The bottom base is stamped on the bottom in a circle, Patented May 19, 1896. The pieces have a brass type coating to a metal interior. There is a lot of tarnish and exposed metal to it now and base has a hairline crack on one of its sides with a lot of rusting underneath it. The bottom center of stand has a burner in the middle with some hardened material that has always been inside of it and it is covered with a metal netting; note that there are some tears in this metal netting and that the mound inside is hard and lumpy which does not allow the separate circular ... moremetal cover with a handle to sit on it flushly(we have never wanted to remove anything on this since purchasing it) The separate circular cover with wood handle sits over the burner section and the center piece of it will open and close. The coffee pot is light with four total knobs on it to hold it on the stand; it has a small chip in the metal on the bottom of spout opening and it also has a a small dent in upper section. The coffee pot has a wood handle on it and the top knob on lid is also made of wood. The bottom of the coffee pot has a stamp on it that says Trade Mark and then has a logo type design between it that looks like an S& Co that stands for S Sternau& Co. When put together. This stands, with the handle raised, approximately 12 inches tall(9-1/2 inches tall without handle raised) diameter of base is approximately 6 inches. This is something that is definitely very old and does have much tarnish to it but we are hoping that someone who loves antiques will treasure this as much as our family has. Pair Vintage English Victorian Brass Beehive Tall 11” Pushup Candlestick Antique
For your consideration is a pair of vintage Victorian style brass candle holders. Each candlestick measures 11 inches tall. One has a slight dent towards the top which I have also made known in the pictures. These are not perfect but they are very old and collectible. Each is impressed“U.S.A. 1959” T he candlesticks both have pushers that are used to eject the stump of the candle(though I do not know whether the pushes are currently opera ble. perhaps lubrication) The centre design of the candlesticks incorporates a beehive pattern. This is a vintage Brass? Tazza/Compote or Centerpiece. It is used and in good condition. The rim is bent a little. This compote has the notches around the top of the edge. There are a fish like object overlooking the tazza/compote. This piece looks old maybe 19th century. No makers mark but. There is a tag that says made in india. I dont know if it is the original tag. Offered for auction are these wonderful old brass weight scales. Sold together for one price. They have brass fronts with the weight markings and a marker that moves up and down to indicate the weight. One goes to 25 lbs, the other to 24 lbs. The larger(10 1/2" is stamped"Warranted and made by Thomas Morton, New York" The smaller(8" is stamped"Excelsior improved spring balance, Sargent& Co. U.S.A. Pair of fabulous Punch and Judy brass Bookends/Door Stops. English. Late 1800's early 1900's. They are made of brass and are very solid and heavy. Punch and Judy are well known characters in folklore and popular culture with origins dating back to the 1300's. In the Commedia dell'Arte brought by troups of actors from Italy to the rest of Europe. The Italian storybook figure of Pulcinella was transformed into Mr Punch in England. He was joined by a wife"Judy" and by 1700 the Punch and Judy show had become and English tradition. Mr Punch measures approx 11" x 9" x 3 1/2"d. Judy measures approx. 11" x 8 1/4" x 3 1/4"d. Stunning Antique Brass/Copper Victorian Tray with Pewter Accents & Handles B&F
An absolutely stunning tray marked LB silver plate although we are not sure the silver plate is still there. Nevertheless it is amazing and in great condition for its age and very unique. It is quite heavy weighing 6 lbs. I believe the tray was made in England. I have found a couple of maker marks for LB that specialized in silver plating. I have only found 4-5 tray even close to this one. It is a must have for someone who loves outstanding metalware. It is intricately etched through the face of the tray. The handles and design have all been welded to the piece. There is no hardware at all. It measures 17" x 13" and 21" from handle to handle. It is marked on the back Silver Plate and LB. Good luck bidding, you will not find another one like this. I am assuming early 20th century.
