This has been in my family since it was expertly hand forged. When you hold it and examine it one can get a sense of its age and history. It measures 6" across by 5.5" tall and 3" deep, The copper is a thick heavier weight so it is not a flimsy piece. The color is superb, a deep rich patina that only can be acquired by the slow passing of time. It has a rustic hand made one of a kind appeal, the hammer marks are larger than average, it has three graduated raised lines across front which adds to its visual appeal. I have up for auction a small antique hand Hammered copper bowl w/ lid. I am assuming this could also be considered an urn. The bowl with the lid is 4" tall and 4-1/2" wide. There are a few small dents(pushed in a tad) that can easily be pushed out BUT I prefer to sell it as found and let the new owner push out the slight indentations if so desired. But the egg poacher it may be copper plated over very soft metal- Ladle measures 21-3/4" x almost 6" wide. The strainer paddle measures 24" long x 7" wide- The egg poacher measures 8" wide x 10-1/2" between the tips of the handles. They have some wear and tarnishing. Each has an engraved or stamped design along the handle. The parts look to be welded together. Both handles are curled at the ends so it can hold a loop for hanging. ANTIQUE HAND HAMMERED COPPER SAUCE PAN ~ DOVETAILED ~ 18th/19th c.
This is an antique copper sauce pan for the collector of old kitchen copper. It is approximately 4 ¼” in height with a top diameter of 8” and a handle length of 8 ½” The pan is heavy and weighs approx. 3 lbs. It holds a little over 3 quarts in liquid. The sauce pan is entirely handmade and has a tinned interior and a handmade copper handle which is secured to the body by a heart shaped mounting with three copper rivets. The pan is of dovetailed construction. However. Where generally the body is joined by a single vertical brass braised dovetailed seam, this piece is seamed vertically on two sides. This is not particularly common. The bottom is also dovetailed as you would expect. In addition, the pan bottom has an old dovetailed patch where it was once repaired. This is a country piece and would have been too valuable to discard ... moreif there were a hole in the bottom. Instead it was more cost effective to have the pan repaired by a smith or traveling tinker. The repair on this pan is nearly as old as the pan itself. Having lasted all this time it has become part of the bona fides of the pan. Overall. This sauce pan is in good condition for its’ age. It has all of the usual dings of generations of use and wear but no dents. The handle is tight and the rivets are secure. The body of the pan still plainly shows the planishing or hammer marks used to create it. The item is not marked as to who made it or when. Most antique kitchen copper is not marked so this is no surprise. The fact that the pan is a country piece and handmade complicates the issue since the construction techniques were the same for generations. Based on our own experience, we would think that this sauce pan was made in the late 18th or early 19th century. This is a nice old item which has been displayed in our home for many, many years. Antique Vintage Hand Hammered Made Early Copper Inkwell Reduced Price
This vintage inkwell I believe should be referred to as an antique. My guess would be mid-1800's. It looks hand crafted and made of copper. There are 4 pieces to this piece. The shaker for sand has a different material on the top. It may be zinc. The holder of the ink may be lead. It is heavy, and sits in it's copper holder. The pins on the hinges of the lids may be replacements. This is a beautiful early piece with great patina. It measures approx. 5 1/4" across the front and 2 1/2" tall.

This is a stunningly rare antique 19th century handmade miniature salesman sample copper pot. it has nice detailing and completely hand hammered and formed from thick copper. it has beautiful copper headless with swirled bottoms which are nicely riveted to the pot with copper rivets. it has a great patina from age and in good shape. measures 2 1/4 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches tall.
