This large hand hammered brass oval tray measures 24 1/4" from handle to handle and 13 1/2" wide. Solid cast brass handles secured with copper button rivets. No marking. ANTIQUE CIRCA 1880's BRADLEY & HUBBARD SMOKING MAN ART TRAY (UNIQUE)
This is an exceptional Circa 1800's piece by Bradley& Hubbard of an old man smoking a tobacco pipe. It measures approx. 7 1/4" by 4 3/4" and is done in cast iron I came upon it about 33 years ago lying along side some railroad tracks and have kept it safely tucked away since. I am offering it up for auction now to serious collectors to add to their unique collection for display. It is in wonderful antique condition and it's only flaw is the one small area to the left of the plate where the iron wore through(see photo) most likely from having weathered the elements considering where it was found. Antique French Coal Hog Urn Circa 1880-1900 Enjoy this fabulous antique French coal urn next to your fireplace or as a center piece in any room. The antique urn's trivet base is formed brass with cast lion feet. The urn itself is turned brass with a detailed copper lid and finial. The Antique French coal hog measures 23" tall by 17" diameter overall. The urn is in overall great condition. It shows little wear with no major dents or scratches. It is in its original patina which has had a coat of clear applied many years ago to protect the polished finish. You are bidding on a set of antique bronze clad bookends that depict a merry jester that was designed by New York sculptor John Ruhl. With his name on the rear base. They were manufactured circa 1928 by Armor Bronze with their mark on one base side(seen in photos) The base measures 4 3/8 by 2 7/8-inches in size, and it stands 7 1/8-inch in height. Once bookend weighs 48 ounces(3 lbs. and the other one weighs 46.3 ounces. See photos for more details. These bookends are in very good condition. There are no cracks or chips in the metal surfaces. Up for purchase is a set of antique bronze clad bookends that depict the End of the Trail Indian theme. They are not marked. But possibly made by Galvano Bronze circa 1928. The base measures 4 1/4 x 2 3/8-inches in size and the height is 6.25-inches. Both bookends weigh 20.2 ounces. See photos for more details. This set is in nice condition. They were manufactured circa 1925 by the Pompeian Bonze Company with their mark on the back of each bookend as well as their sticker tags on the bottoms and one on the rear. From a recent flea market jaunt in Paris. Here's a charming reminder from the late nineteenth century of the way hotel service used to be. It's the metal bell ringer that once sat on the front desk used by a customer or hotel manager to get attention. To judge from the elegant decoration and style of this one, it was used at an upscale hotel, or, just possibly, a bordello: And, several generations later, it still makes a"ding. Winner gets an antique. Circa early 1900's, Hubley cast iron sailing ship door stop with what little remains of it's original paint. This is coming to you from an estate sale in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in it's original condition. There are no cracks, damage, or repairs. Please enlarge the pictures to see the oxidation that has occurred due to it's age. I'm sure it could clean up nice, it's still solid, the oxidation is just surface, but I wanted to leave it in original condition. I don't know much about this sort of thing, but after bringing it to a local antique center, I was told it is possibly Hubley. The ship measures roughly 10 inches long and 11 inches high. But I will tell you that of all of the bed warmers that I have viewed online, this is the only one I have seen that has the French writing at the middle/ center of the lid that reads: Le Cellier Havard Brevete S.G.D.G A Villedieu(Manche) In very good condition considering the age of this item. This listing is for a classic brass and onyx candlestick dating to 1930's. The elegant shape looks great with antiques or with modern home decor. It stands 10" high with out the candle. It is strong enough to stand on its own but could also be grouped together with other candlesticks for an eclectic look. Ships without candle. This is a gorgeous piece. Very solid too. It is in beautiful condition with a lovely brass patina.

The best pair of 19th century Brass push up candlesticks that I have had in 20 years. App. 11" tall, the best quality, big and bold style, these were top of the line back then, nothing to do unless you like them bright brass, they will polish up gleaming but I like them like they are, i lowered the bid years ago these would have fetched $200 to $300 but things change, thanks

Antique Double Silver Pleated Hot Pot. Circa 1898
This late 19th century Hot Pot is made of Double Pleated Sliver. Stands 12 inches tall and is aprox 9 1/2 inches wide. This piece has some inscriptions on the base including"April 26.1898" It has some ware due to age but overall is in good condition. The handle,spout and top are intact and has no signs of damage. James Moyes maker's mark(touch) to interior base. He was the last operating pewterer in Edinburgh. Working there from 1841 to 1891. Rarely found Acanthus Leaf decoration to top of handle. Capacity verification* for Edinburgh County of City. Indicating manufacture in 1870, struck at the rim on the side. Next to that is a second Edinburgh mark, being a Crown above' CO ED' Beneath these verifications is a' HALF 1/2 PINT' label. Beneath the label is a Victorian verification for Midlothian County(Crown over VR over 479) and' 90' In excellent antique condition. No repairs. Warm silver-gray patina.
