ANTIQUE HAND-STITCHED DOLL QUILT 4-PATCH PATTERN This darling little quilt was lovingly handmade with fabrics indicating a time period of 1860-1890. The colors are indigo blue. Black& some shirting prints. It has a thin cotton batting& flour sack backing. I wonder if it might have been the first of many quilts made by a young girl of long ago for a special doll? It has been hand-pieced& hand-quilted. I purchased this quilt at a Northwest Missouri estate auction. It is in very good condition with just a few faint stains on the back.

Keisai Eisen was famous for his ribald writings and his lively woodblock prints. He was the natural choice to produce an expensive series of prints illustrating the Kisokaido, a highway from Edo to Kyoto, whose 69 post stations provided accommodation, refreshment, and entertainment, as well as uproarious tales of the road. Eisen's restless spirit apparently tired of the enormous project, however, and after the 24th image the prints were produced by the supreme landscape artist Utagawa Hiroshige, whose scenes contained more of the natural grandeur of the Kisokaido, and who produced some of his finest art for this project. The original 1 1/4" wide wood frame looks like it is made from a soft wood such as pine and is finished in scarlet red paint with a faint sepia brown glazing. The glass is free of cracks and chips. The overall frame size of each print measures 6 7/8" wide x 8 7/8" tall. These are German peasant themed prints on an ivory background of hardpressed paper board. Other than that. I don't know anything more about them.

I was told these were from the 30's. They are wall hangings that were part of a set of six by Kelloggs. These two are Lady Bug. Lady Bug, and Friday Night's Dream. They both measure 6.5 inches by 5.25 inches. I would not say they are in bad shape but they are not mint. TWO 1800'S ANTIQUE 2 PRINTS FLORAL AND BOWL OF FRUIT These two prints were discovered inside a Bible published in 1838. One is from a magazine and the other is a plain floral print. The floral print is in good condition and the"bowl of fruit" is in fair condition. This is a pair of Original Engraved maps of Jerusalem produced for"The New Peoples Cyclopedia of Universal Knowledge" Phillips and Hunt. New York, 1887. They are in great condition, the colors are good, no foxing. There are a few minors tears along the top edge, less than 1/8 inch. Each map measures 7 by 103/4 inches I am selling them as the pair and will look great framed. this is a great find.

Up for auction is a very unique Antique Chinese or Japanese Wood Decorated Fan Frame with three prints of Geisha's. This piece is out of an estate of unique Asian Pieces. Such as some I have already sold. This large hanging wall Fan Frame has three windows with antique colored prints under glass. The body itself is wood with high relief painting designs such as the trees with laquer wood. There are a few issues through out this piece, chipping, a crack by on of the photos to the tree as seen clearly in the photo, also at the base of the fan, some early restoration seems present but not much. The back of the three frames are held by nails that may need reinforcing. Overall, a unique piece as you can see for these photos. Measures 32' long and 19' high. One more than the other, could maybe be cleaned up and repainted. one has chips on the glass in the corners, and looks like it has a water stain on the inside, this one is also signed twice ad says leroy imp paris and has a green circle stamp with szl in it. From the Victorian period, they are made of black walnut with carved surfaces that resemble crisscrossed tree branches. Each of the frames overall measurements is 10 5/8" by 8 3/8" and each has an opening that is 6 5/8" by 4 3/8" They are well-built and still tight and sound. Both are in very good, overall condition but one does have a 1 inch crack in the glass in the upper right corner and the other is missing a small piece of wood in the back which isn't visible when hanging on a wall. Antique QUILT TOP c. 1920 BLACK and WHITE SHIRTING +PRINTS
Interesting and different this quilt top is a mix of black and white and tan. The blacks and whites are c 1920 shirtings. Gingham and mourning prints. these prints were popular around 1900. The pieced blocks are set together with a tan print solid square. This is a very sweet print with stylized hearts on a vine. I haven't been able to identify the pattern.could be variation of Road to California or Road to Oklahoma. Cal. is a nine patch and this is a four patch as is Ok. The top is 71"x87" and is in very good condition. There is some age yellowing and light stains. One plain block has a small light blue stain. Finished this would be a very striking quilt!

This pair of antique(19th century? Japanese woodblock prints is in very good condition. The prints themselves are perfect. And the frame has only a couple of minor nicks. The black paper backing on back of frame is torn, but this could be easily replaced. According to printed labels on the back of the frame, the prints show: Fujisawa(Entrance to Enoshima Beach. Excellent Antique Quilt c.1890 "Fox & Geese" Hand Quilted Multi Prints 76 x 84"
This is a wonderful antique quilt. It is all cottons and measures 75 1/2 x 84" The name of the block pattern is Fox and Geese. Or it is also known as Double X. It dates to the 1890's. It has a beautiful variety of early prints- double pinks, indigos,shirtings,paisley, polka dots on checks and more. The connecting blocks are a tiny black and white shirting print. It has a double pink border strip that is 1 3/4" and it is bound in the same print. The back of the quilt is a tiny deep brown shirting print. The blocks are skillfully pieced with matching points and the blocks are set on point. The hand quilting is very nice, with vertical lines in the pieced bloc, circular lines in the plain block and it has a light cotton bat. Condition is very good- colors are bright and there are no holes or weak spots. There are four of the light ... moreblocks that have some very faint stains as shown in last picture- they are not distracting. This quilt has been documented by the Minnesota Quilt Project.

They were purchased in England. They are in good condition. All printed on one side only. Colors are nice and vibrant. Two prints were cut down slightly measuring 7.75" h x 5.75" w. Clearly the white paper backing and matting is all signficantly newer, these were purchased out of an estate sale in Miami, so unfortunately I have no background on them. They are each hand written in the margins of the backing paper with a description and a'Genuine' stamp, which I am unfamilar with. Each is glued in two spots to the backing paper.
