For sale is a 1950s 2 arm industrial Jielde multi angle articulated machine ... morelamp. The aluminium elbows have been polished. The lamp is in working order and comes with 2.4 metres of new flex but not the plug as it is a French one. It is in very good used condition with some very minor signs of use to the reflector's surface. The reflector has its original high temperature painted surface and still has the bulb wattage/voltage sticker intact. The switch is in the base. I have included the lamp's weighted vehicle brake disc base in the sale. These lamps are very sort after and nice examples like this are becoming difficult to find. The photos don't do it justice! The lamp takes a Standard Bayonet cap bulb(B22) which are available at all DIY outlets. Bulb not included. The maximum wattage is 150w. Jielde lamps were designed by Jean-Louis Domecq for direct mounting on machine tools and for use in workshops. The lamps have now become particularly fashionable for use in loft style apartments and in homes generally as desk lamp/floor or wall lamps. So, hence I have fitted a trailing flexible lead to make the light more useable in the home. I have displayed this light using a vehicle brake disc which provides a solid base to show a typical method of mounting the light. Heavy sprockets. Hardwood- anything heavy will do the job. The light can also be fixed to a wall if required using its mounting base/bracket which has 3 holes in it. Although the light isn't heavy, it will require a solid wall and sturdy fixings to mount it as the movement required to adjust the lamp to the desired position will put stress on the mounting. There is a name and year written on the bottom of the desk, but it is very faint and can only be seen while hold the desk at a certain angle to the light. I tried to capture the writing in a picture, but could only get the first part of the name. The name stands out the most. The rest of the writing, I believe would be where the owner lived and the year is much fainter. It looks like Maggie C Farr(something) something) 1876 or 1896. The box measures about 11 ¼” x 7 3/4” x 3 ½” closed) Opened and lying flat the desk measures about 16” long. The inside bottom felt writing surface that lifts up is tight and strong while the top felt writing surface that lifts up is wiggly, but still very much intact. Very nice old lap desk. This is a wonderful copy of an old desk made by a great craftsman-artist. The desk is over 8' tall and is in show conditon. Never really used as a desk. Looks like brand new. It is a wonderful piece to put in a home or office where everyone will see it. And ask you questions about it. It was build out of solid wood. Mainly mahagony and probably tiger maple(see the pictures) wery nicely and professionally combined together. The desk is 2 parts and both of them are very heavy. Total probably 400-500 lbs. Rare Antique Milton Bradley School Desks 1940’s Rare. Antique Milton Bradley School Desks. This auction is for two desks and one chair. The chair matches one of the desks. The desks are solid and in very good shape. The chair needs to be re-glued but otherwise. It is in good shape too. I have done some research on these and I can find very few examples of them. The desks do not have any marks or labeling that indicates they are made by Milton Bradley. So this is really a guess. My father purchased these in the late 1960’s. And re-finished them as a project. Please see photos- it looks like it was painted brown at some point, which is coming off in places. It is super solid feeling and you can tell it is a very well-made, quality piece with dovetail drawers. The metal handles are in nice shape, there are 4 handle holes in each of the 3 drawers. Two antique school desks with fancy iron, matching.
These school desks are in the basement and got water on their feet when the air conditioning tube going into the drain in the old country store building backed up so the feet need some rust removal and new paint. It is surface rust and they are very sturdy and in great shape otherwise. I am selling these desks in other venues so there is a possibility that they will be sold before the end of the auction.

We rescued 50 school desks from a Junior High School that was being converted to apartments. The school desks. With holes for inkwells, stand alone or can be connected back to back. They were made for the Junior High School in Shelton Washington in about 1930. We have about 4 that are put together. $50 each. If you want multiples to put together yourself. Then $25 for the parts for a desk, or $20 disassembled desk when you buy 20 or so. We want these to go to someone interested in preserving the desks and the wood and iron from that time… scratches and all! The some of the cast iron is rusty from storage. There are two if these clear glass antique ink bottles. The square bottle is the oldest and measures 2 1/8" tall x 1 3/4" square with rounded corners. It has no makers mark but there are bubbles in the glass. The round ink bottle is 2 3/4" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter. The bottom is marked"3 1/8 oz. 1 9- 991- D under a'F' in a circle. Both bottles are in good condition; no chips or cracks.

Antique Cast Iron and Wood School Desk, (2 desks, 3 seats) in 2 pieces-vintage
Antique/ Vintage School Desks Wood seats and desk top with metal sides as seen in pictures. This are roughly 100 years old and have been in my family for over 50 years. They came from a Racine or Kenosha. Wisconsin school. The desks come in two parts. One part is two desks with two chairs. The under shelf of one of the desks is missing. Second part is a folding chair. All three chairs fold up. The height is roughly 28" at the highest point. Desks are about 21" wide and length is about 58" long with seat folded. PICK UP ONLY! I donated my truck to charity so I can't deliver this item. I'm about 75 miles north of NYC in the beautiful Hudson Valley.

Antique Book/Music Stand. Adjustable. Desks & Secretaries and Wood & Metal
Antique stand is adjustable. Brass or bronze metal on real early Masonite painted back. It appears to be a shellac finish, and the early Masonite originally came out in 1906 and was patented a few years later. I'm thinking 1920's to 40's when it was made. Folds and bends into a multitude of position's. It's quite a unique stand. I have looked hard to see a similar item and haven't since acquiring it. Condition is good, not great. It's a bit worn from age but no real damage anywhere on it that I have noticed except 2 corners slightly chipped/worn, little dusty. The are quite a few possible uses for this because of the design.

ANTIQUE TAMBOUR-FRONTED(or roll-front) storage cabinet. Designed to go with roll top desks. The brass plate at the top rather charmingly reads"Wolfe& Hollander Office Furnishers London W1" We believe this piece to be from the early decades of the twentieth century, and as such, it shows some signs of wear. The exterior is fairly perfect, with the exception of the missing handle on the top, and one drawer is ink-stained as the close up photo shows. The roll top mechanism works perfectly, but a few of the lower drawers are slightly sticky- perhaps they are in the wrong position? Dimensions: height 112cm/44in, width at widest point 49.5cm/19.5 in, depth 40cm/15.75in. No returns, and buyer to arrange collection from Clapham, South London UK within 3 days of winning bid.

It's a Victorian piece from a school house where the last row were the seating for those school desks that had the seat attached to the desk behind. It measures 8 feet long and the back of the seat is 28" tall and the seat height from the floor is 14" The seat fold up for more room. In the iron it reads. New Paradon patented 1881 Feb. 1, Aug. 2, Sep. 3, Buffalo Hardware" and there is the number"3" inside a circle. I've had this for probably 30 years and have never seen one this long.
