Vintage Arts and Crafts or Art Nouveau Spirit Kettle w/ Wrought Iron Stand
Here is a very nice Arts and Crafts period spirit kettle with original stand and burner. It is brass with a hand wrought iron stand. The stand exhibits art nouveau influence with its sinuous forms. It is unmarked. Condition is very good. There is some variation to the patina and spotting as expected for age. There is some finish loss to the wood handles. The spout has a small dent and some crimping to the tip as shown. This is 14" tall by 11" deep. The kettle is 9 1/2" across to the tip of the spout. Flat rate shipping is free to the US. VINTAGE Antique Wool Rug/Blanket with the Macintosh Art Nouveau/Arts& Crafts Rose Motif. This particular stylized geometric rendition of the ROSE is a classic of the Arts& Crafts Movement which featured star craftsmen like Gustav Stickley. Charles Limbert, Roycroft. The rug/blanket measures approx. 72" x 50" and is in excellent vintage pre-used condition.there are VERY minor thinner areas- NOT BY MUCH AND no holes at all. There is PINK stitching for no apparent reason(see photo 7) as there is no hole to patch- perhaps the maker of the rug planned to add some embellishments to that area but never finished. The ends of the rug as shown in the photos are tight and excellent. This could be shown as a rug or blanket but really should be shown as a WORK OF ART and hanging. WE SHIP GLOBALLY.

It measures 35" in diameter and is in good condition with a few stray threads and some small light stains. The handwork is very intricate and colorful and the tablecloth has a delicate fringe. I could not get the tablecloth to lay flat- perhaps it was draped over a table for too long.

VINTAGE TOOLED LEATHER PURSE This is a cool old purse with tooled leather from Justin Leather Goods. It is 7" tall and about 6 3/4" wide with a drop of 5 1/4" The clasp hardware is ok. The top came off but is included, you twist the hanging clasp to lock and unlock the purse. The leather lacing has a spot where it broke. the top does snap back on, but owuld prob need a drop of glue to make sure it stayed) The clasp is stamped"Patented Oct 5, 1915-May 15, 1917 July 23, 1918" This is a very pretty design in the Art Deco style. You are bidding on a Vintage Arts& Crafts/ Art Nouveau Bronze Door Handle Knocker. The handle measures almost 9 1/2" long and 2 1/2" at the widest point. The knocker is about 4 3/4" and lower portion is about 3" in diameter. The knocker can be turned in different directions or it can hang straight. You will notice it has a fancy design at the top and bottom and and is somewhat curved. The small little twist that is inside the knocker is about 1 1/4" across. I do not see any cracks. Chips or breaks on the handle. There is a little paint residue on the front and some minor surface rust on the back. It is a heavy piece weighing just over a pound. It is an old used handle and is not perfect. This would be a great addition to anyone's collection or to use somewhere. It is found in good used condition, with a floral decorated gesso border. The interior fabric has a rose decorated design. There appears be a water stain in the corner. Primary colors are yellow, brown, green, white and red. This tray measures approximately 11 1/2" x 5 1/2" in size. Vintage ART NOUVEAU/ARTS & CRAFTS Lg PIN Leaves & Berries 4 1/4" Wide nr
Here is what I believe to be an old Art Nouveau belt buckle that has been made into a wonderful large pin. It measures about 4 1/4" across. It has goldtone colored large leaves with scallop edges and center of raised stem and leaves and either berries or grapes but nature design. Some verdigris on the back by safety pin hook. Front now has some color loss but a nice patina and all in all will look golden when worn. Although it looks heavy pin is fairly lightweight and does have long pin back. This piece is marked"925" for sterling silver and the stones are natural Amethyst. This bracelet is influenced by Arts& Crafts pieces but is much newer and is a fine reproduction. The bracelet measures 8" long. It is a bit fuller than 1/2" wide at its widest point, and is 1/4" thick at its thickest point. The bracelet has a sturdy and substantial feel and weighs 28 grams. This piece closes securely with the original toggle clasp. This piece is unique for the rich color of the amethyst stones- they are thick and domed in shape, jutting out from the base of the setting, and are faceted all across the top. The shade itself has some darkening which probably needs to be professionally removed. The graphics are AWESOME. Colors are still very vibrant in green, purple, orange, and black on cream colored background. There is pink on the top part. There is a noticeable crack on the rim and some minor roughness. On the Lower portion of the Front this Clock features a Nearly Nude but Scantily Clad Maiden, with her face turned back towards the Sun that is rising behind several Wispy Clouds in the Background. At her feet are Flora and Fauna with 2 Birds, one in the Bushes and one Flying about. Below her Body are 3 Roses on the Middle Foot. There is Beautiful detail on this Bronze Clock Case and the Patina is a Warm Coppery Color. The Copper Faced Clock is made and Marked with the"Junghans" insignia on the Face. Condition: It appears that the Movement's round Case has been soldered to the Clock case. As it is tightly fitted and doesn't move or turn. The Clock is not working and there is one hand Missing. I think this came originally from an estate sale in San Francisco back in the early 1990's. It is approx. 10.5" triangular in three directions and approx. 1.5" high. Signed NEKRASSOFF on the back and above the sig. are hash marks. lll-ll. wondering if that means 32? and maybe 1932 year of creation? This is only a theory/suggestion. The piece looks very unique. very Art Deco and still rather Art Nouveau at the same time. maybe a crossover piece? Hammered metal is either silver plated or silver? No metal markings. It doesn't tarnish very fast either. This piece is not mint.it has that tiny ding in the center(see last photo) and some light scratching and some residue that needs to be polished off in a few places. but overall I think it looks great. I am judging the metal as either a silver plated aluminum or brass base(a magnet does not stick to it but it shows light signs of pitting on the edge next to the mirror rim) The mirror rim is definitely a different metal from the form. The Scandinavian Viking influence in the British Isles began in the eighth century. When they first invaded Iona, the heart of the Celtic Church, in 794. There are many Celtic images of Viking longboats. And they have been favorite subjects of Scottish/English jewelers through the years, as displayed by this charming bracelet. The center features a trio of carved, raised flowers with stems and leaves. These are inset on a recessed surface which is encircled with a raised wood border. The top has either hand scraped or router marks for further interest. The table is a true work of art and it is finely crafted. I do not know the age of the table. Under the top, the table is assembled ... morewith flat screws. The leg attachments have Phillips head screws. I don't know if these are replacements. The wood is thick and substantial. The table is quite sturdy. It is in very good condition with only a few minor scuffs/scrapes to the surface of the finish. These are not distracting and can be resolved.
