This one of well documented form with pineapple/ artichoke/ florifom(depending on which reference you consult) decoration. Whatever that case, the I believe 1910-1920 or so upper tier necessity was originally available in two finishes- patinated and bronze dore; the offered holder is of the patinated type, so perhaps somewhat more compatible with an American Arts and Crafts decorative scheme. In fact, this one saw service as a candlestick in an old Tucson bungalow for many years. There is"TIFFANY STUDIOS/ NEW YORK" and"1043" to the bottom exactly as proper. There are no monograms or any other issues of that sort. if you have a Tiffany glass vase in need of a base, or a spot for a surprisingly efficient candlestick of highly charismatic configuration, this should lo the trick in high style. For those who know, no more need be said. Condition is quite fine with a wonderful aura of time to the patinated surfaces. Those surfaces were apparently lightly cleaned at some point in the distant past, though have now toned nice mellow coloration(see pics) No damage or any hidden restorations to dampen your day. A look at the pics should give a good idea of appearance and condition. Size is about 5 1/4 in. high; about 5 in. across the circular base. Bronze and green colored slag glass letter rack made by Tiffany Studios of New York during the first quarter of the 1900s. This piece is in the Grapevine pattern, and the is designed with pierced bronze over caramel slag glass. The bronze, openwork panels are designed with beautiful grapeleaf and vine designs over the green colored slag glass. This is a wonderful, vintage piece. The base is marked Tiffany Studios and New York. This piece is in good overall condition. One bronze panel came off the bronze base and has been reattached. The glass inside of this panel and the center panel has cracked. But this is only noticeable upon close inspection of the piece. The crack in the side panel is really ... morenot noticeable except on very close inspection, and we have shown a closeup of the center panel in the last photo. One ball foot has a bit of felt at the bottom. There are no breaks, no other cracks, no splits, no dents, no chips and no other repairs. Three tier letter paper rack/organizer. This piece is done in the desirable grape vine pattern. The glass is a mottled green and white, with the rich patina of the metal(bronze or copper.unsure) This piece has cosmetic issues.Glass is cracked in many places and in every tier. The piece is still solid. Because glass is encased in the frame of grape vine design. Otherwise, glass would fell out. There is also a slight bent to the tiers(see images) and I think somehow that caused the actual damage. It is really hard to photograph and show all the cracks without actually looking at the piece. So.unfortunately, I will sell this piece as damaged and as is. I will ... morenot accept claims, if more damage will happen during shipping to the glass and if some pieces will become loose. I will pack however with utmost care to prevent such problem. The metal has an attractive patina. With a green verdigris here and there. Still it is a very nice piece to have. This is an authentic antique Tiffany Studios Bronze dish. A beautiful original Arts& Crafts period"Greek Key" Design. Manufactured by Tiffany Studios of New York. Marked on the back with the authentic Mark and shape number#1743. Which is an 8 inch by approx. 1" round dish or plate. Solid bronze with a cast greek key decoration around the outside rim with an all over textured finish to the surface. Which is then gold gilt. It has a round rim foot on the bottom with slightly turned up edge rim. It was made in the early 1900's during the Arts& Crafts movement. Beautiful high quality craftsmanship. See condition below. Antique TIFFANY STUDIOS NY Grapevine Bronze Art Glass Trinket Box 4 Repair
This antique box is being sold for parts or repair. Two of the side panels have cracked glass and one has a piece missing. It's missing the end tube for the hinge and there's a corner seam separation on the bottom. It measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 1 3/4" high.
