Silver Plated Bon-bon Dish, American, stamped Miller & Co.Quadruple Plate. SIM.
Bon-bon Dish on circular foot. Understamped Miller& Co, quadruple plate SIM. This American dish is probably made from US equivalent of Britannia Metal and was originally silver plated. Over the years much of this has worn off exposing the underlying metal which has developed a polished grey patina. The dish has scolloped edges and a cast-in pattern of flowers. Petals, shields and a bird. It also has an ornate lifting handle. Overall size 17cm diameter x 11cm high. It is undamaged but on one side there is a small piece of welding which may have held a support for a spoon or fork. Postage&packing UK £3.50. EU £7.50. Rest of the world £12.00.

Quadruple Plated Silver Castor w/ Root Beer-Amber Glass Canoe Shape Insert
Here's an old fashioned metal plated(most likely quadruple plated) pickle castor with a large root beer-amber glass canoe shaped bowl. The castor measures 7 1/4" tall. About 3 3/8" in diameter and is approximately 2 1/2" deep(front to back) Very ornate, Victorian era styled with swirls, ropes and leaves. The canoe measures 9 1/2" long, 2 3/4" in diameter at the widest middle area, 2 1/2" tall at the middle and has four small knob feet. This glass canoe has shell type pattern. and set is in nice condition although the arch or top of the castor doesn't look level to me but this just may be an optical illusion or just needs to be adjusted. The canoe has multi-tiny bubble inclusions probably origination from the manufacturing process of that era. I don't have any information on the makers or if it's ... morean original set. Up for bid is this beautiful quadruple plated coffee server. It does not have a burner. It is in good condition. It has a little bit of wear on the rim of the server. But overall good condition. It does not leak. It is marked on the bottom James W. Tufts Quadruple Plate Warranted. It is also marked 3X9Z in 2 areas on the underside. This will hold about 1 gallon. You turn the valve to open and close the flow. The valve has some cracks, but is still very much intact. It measures 15 3/4" in height with the lid on, approx. 11" across from handle to handle, 5 1/8" across the rim and approx. 5 1/2" across the front from foot to foot. Thanks for looking! Up for sale is this very detailed etched design silver plated large creamer. This piece was made by the Derby Silver Co. And is marked Derby Silver Co. Quadruple Plate with an anchor on the bottom of creamer. The creamer stands 5" tall and 6" across from spout to handle. This is truly a great piece for collectors. The creamer does need a soft cleaning but, appears to be in wonderful condition. The bottom of the creamer also has LC03 printed.

ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED BRIDE'S BASKET OR CARD HOLDER Up for auction is a wonderful James Tufts of Boston silver plated Brides Basket. This is a beautiful example and measures approximately 8 1/2" tall with a width of 5 1/4" The condition of the plate appears to be very good. Though I have not polished this and the handle shows some tarnish/patina. Tufts was one of the finer makers of these types of fancy goods. There is one small solder joint where the silver bead connects at the top of the handle that is slightly loose, though it's not apparent in the pictures. Is not noticeable and the handle continues to sit securely in the bead. It does not cause any loss of integrity of the piece and won't affect the stability of the handle or the holder. Silver Plated Breakfast Set by Middletown Plating Company stamped quadruple plat
Silver Plated Breakfast Set by Middletown Plate Company. Understamped Quadruple Plate 1120 hard white metal BC and scales logo.The Middletown Plate Company was operating from 1864- 1899 in Connecticutt so these items are well over 100 years old. Hard white metal is most probably an alloy similar to Britannia metal. Cleaning over the years has removed most of the plating from these items leaving an attractive shiny grey patina. All items have a matching floral design. The teapot is 15cm high x 23cm long with a hinged lid and a cast spout and handle. The latter having heat insulating ceramic discs. Capacity 1100cc. It has very slight dents near top of body. Lightly stained inside. The milk jug has very similar pattern with an overall height of 9cm. Length 15cm. It has one extremely small dent near top of body. It is stained inside. The sugar ... morebasin is again similar with one very small dent. Height 11cm. Length 16cm. Stained inside. The slop basin is basically a larger version of the sugar basin but has a loose lid. Mechanically perfect. Height 12cm. Length 19cm. Slightly stained. The butter dish is clearly meant to be part of the same set since it bears the same 1120 number. This would have had a glass liner so that the domed lid would have a better fit. width 17cm height 14cm. The lid has one very small dent. The flange on the base is slightly distorted in one place. Stained inside. Postage& packing UK £10.00. Overseas 2 parcels and much more expensive.

Antique Barbour flowered silver repousse 3 piece tea set, quadruple plated
Beautiful 3 piece tea set by Barbour in a heavy floral repousse pattern. Great aged look with dark patina that really shows the detail in the flowers. This set is quadruple plated and does not show any obvious plate loss. Pieces include a teapot. Creamer, and sugar bowl with lid. Teapot is dented and looks like it was crushed from above. Displays relatively well considering this. Teapot measures about 8.5" from spout to handle, and also about 8.5" to top of finial. Sugar bowl is roughly 6" tall and about 6.75" from handle to handle. Creamer is 4.5" tall at highest point and 5.5" wide from spout to handle. Great old set to add to your collection!

AKA Queen Bess or Brave Bessie: She was the Very First African American Woman to recieve her Pilot's license in 1921. Meridan. Ct- Set of Quadrupled Plated Sugar and Creamer Set. Very Ornate design with scrollwork on the handles and lower center of each piece. The top lip is fluted and the flower and leaf design on 2 sides is intricate and a pretty floral design. Very distinct pattern and style which I have not seen duplicated on Ebay. Height 3 3/4" and bottom width is 2 1/4" The mouth is 2 1/2" wide and total width, handle to handle on the sugar bowl, is almost 6" The creamer measures 3 3/4" from the handle to the end of the spout. The total measurement from the handle to the end of the spout is about 5 1/2" Truly unique, antique and numbererd 101, this set would look stunning on any table set for a dinner! GORGEOUS! Rare and hard to find! J.A. Babcock. 1880, Quadruple Plated Sugar Bowl and Creamer. This company operated out of New York from 1861 and closed in 1894. This simply is gorgeous. The raised and embossed vegetation, leaves and flowers on the neck of each piece is intrinsic and beautiful and circles the entire top. On the body of each piece on one side only is a gorgeous, detailed leaf and flower design. I am not going to clean this and shine it up because I love this look with the patina. The sugar bowl is almost 4 1/2" tall measured to the top of the handle. The mouth is 3 1/4" wide and the base is almost 3" The belly puffs out and obviously will have a larger measurements that both of these. This quadruple silver plated pedestal bridal basket is from the 1830's to 1860's. It has the prettiest detailing. This is a lady with a watering urn to water her beautiful flowers that are on the bridal basket as well. The glass part is in terrific condition no cracks or chips on it. It looks like part going up around the glass bowl one of the arms looks like it's a little more rough texture. Vintage Victor Silver Co. Quadruple Silver-plated Teapot circa 1912 This is a circa 1912 teapot in“Quadruple” silver-plate made by Victor Silver Co. an economical trade mark of the Derby Silver Co. founded in 1872 in Massachusetts. They stopped making quadruple silver-plate in 1912. The body is finely decorated in an Art Nouveau style with no personal monograms. The lid is hinged and the handle is made of some sort of black material. It does have one dent on lower side of the pot(see photos) and could use a good polish. I will sell as is. Rogers Smith Meriden, CT Quadruple plated Silver Tea, Coffee Creamer Cup
This was made between 1857 and 1862 before the company merged. It's made in Meriden. Connecticut USA and the piece is number 39. It has lovely flowers etched in the silver. You can polish this if you like or leave rustic. You can use for creamer or put some fresh cut flowers from your garden in it. Either way it a beautiful piece.
