Here are three maple soapberry spoons from the northwest coast. These spoons date from the 1880s and are wonderful examples of this type of delicate spoon. ... moreSoapberry are round berries that ripen in the early summer. When mixed with equal amounts of berries and water they can be whipped into a foam not so much different than whipped egg whites. The tribes would mix this with different things and eat it like ice cream. These have a worm and used feeling to them from years of use. The grain of the maple wood that they were carved from is beautiful. Please see pictures for length. Enjoy!

LOVELY PAIR OF ART NOUVEAU NORTH AMERICAN NATIVE INDIAN GILT CAST IRON BOOKENDS
Why not have a look at my other auctions and store items for interesting militaria etc? Here is a lovely set of bookends. Likely made from the 1880's to the 1940's. They are certainly Art Nouveau style but then the Native romantic period approximately spans those years too. These are cast iron with a lovely gold patina, not unlike a Vienna bronze finish. Each is 4 1/4" wide and 3 5/8" tall. The pair is in excellent condition. Check out my other items! Extremely Rare Early Bronze Clad Matched Bookends Auction Description: National Metalizing Co/Armor Bronze Mfg 1914-1948"The Flight" 1918 This wonderful Native American set is guaranteed to be one of earliest and oldest of all known original National Metalizing Co. sets and better known later as the Armor Bronze Manufacturing Co. This set is the perfect example of early L-Shaped bronze clad issue. These have a wonderful and near pristine bronze clad finish with aged verdigris and bold chocolate patina. This set has not been listed in any price guide as of this date and would be considered extremely rare and especially considering their wonderful near flawless condition. I would venture to say this set was produced very close to. But earlier than“The Harpist” which was one of the earliest signed issues with ... morethe Armor Bronze name and date. Only a few productions by National Metalizing were signed and none that I have ever seen in my 45 years of collecting had the foil type label displayed later by Armor Bronze. Armor Bronze collectors will absolutely love this adorable set. Description: This bronze clad set depicts an American Indian Brave more than likely ready to mount his horse in readiness to take flight from either battle or some type of immediate danger. Some have summorized this set has a depiction of the overall"Flight" or movement of the American Indian away from the influx of foreign immigrants who were taking over the Indians home lands. The set was titled by the artist as“The Flight” so it is obvious the brave is fleeing from some type of danger. This L-shaped is very simplistic on the back side but very ornate on the fronts. The top is adorned with ribbon like scrolling leading down to the title box containing the words“The Flight” The bareback horse is rearing and contained by the Indian holding the reins in his left hand and full length spear in his right. The base appears to place the horse and rider on flat rocks or flagstone base which may indicate the

The insides are coated with layers of wax. The halves are then bound together and wax poured inside to complete the wax image being created. Once the wax has cooled. Native American Pen Pencil Business Card Holder Rare Original Condition
Check out my other items! AUCTION DESCRIPTION: SYCRACUSE ORNAMENTAL CORPORATION“SYROCO. INC. Western Winter Camp" 1890-1955 Guaranteed to be old and all original. It is my pleasure to bring this extremely nice and extremely rare desk item consisting of a business card holder and pen casket. The piece was manufactured by what is commonly known as Syroco for short. The holder is consists of two attached scenes. One being what would appear to be a Indian Chief smoking a peace pipe seated before a campfire. He wears the chieftain full headdress smoking a long stemmed peace pipe near a low flaming fire. Just in the background is a Squaw tending another small fire in preparation of a meal for there is a hanging pot above the fire. Behind her is a cone tepee or wigwam and is consistent with the type Plains Indians used in the Western United ... moreStates. The tepee is adorned with what appears to be signs of the moon which was very characteristic of the Plains people. In the foreground of the Squaw there is a small corn or maize garden and directly behind her is a forest of what appears to be the Western Hemlock which would indicate the camp has been moved out of the open plain after hunting season to be close to the shelter of the forest which will provide winter hunter for the tribe as well as plenty of wood and cover from winter storms. Syroco made hundreds of different products as well as bookends so I could not resist years ago to collect the finest of Syroco products if they were rare and very unique in form. This item is for the avid collector of Native American memorabilia and the condition is absolutely wonderful. Please feel free to email with questions. Inquiries, or any additional information. I will professionally pack this item and will promptly ship via USPS. Please understand because of the weight and size there is a higher price for freight. This unique item is inexpensive to own but will be hard to find in good condition in the future so if you are a avid Native American collector of unusal items. This i
Exceptional 19th century gilted, cast iron Native American Indian statue pair
Exceptional. Ca. 19th century cast iron Native American Indian figural statue pair Offered at 7 day no reserve auction is this finely detailed pair of Native American Indian cast iron statues. They most likely date to about 1880 or 1890. Made of cast iron and painted in a gold. gilt' type of paint, this pair measures 10 inches tall and approximately 4 inches wide at the base. After being evaluated by a couple of experts, they feel strongly they are most likely Tobacconist countertop cigar store figures. For clarity, I should also point out they have also been described to me as Stove Finials. I feel they are more likely countertop cigar store displays due to the tobacco leaves in the hair of each, and what appears to be a cigar in the waistband of the Native American man. In either instance they are extremely ornate and beautiful. Condition ... moreis equally exceptional for their age as you can see in the high resolution photos. There is a minute amount of gilt wear at some of the extreme edges as pictured. I would say easily 98 to 99 percent of the gilt is intact. There is no damage to note outside the minute amount of gilt or paint loss. These are truly exquisite figures. Please email should you have any questions or comments. They will be answered quickly. Shipping is based on priority large flat rate box as these figures carry a little bit of weight. Don't miss the chance to add this showpiece pair of figures to your collection today! The start will be low so everyone can participate in the fun. GOOD LUCK! Powered by The free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items. Antique Brass Native American Chief Incense Burner
Stunning Antique Brass Native American Chief Incense Burner. The brass chief is sitting with his legs crossed. Holding something on his lap. Cone incense can be burned on this item in his lap. The chief is hollow and has holes in the back of his head. Incense can be burned inside of him and smoke will rise out of his head. The item is heavy for its size. The brass is thick. This incense burner is in superb condition. The brass has developed a gorgeous patina. I am not able to find any indication of damage. I have not been able to find another item exactly the same as this one. So I am unsure of it's age. I suspect it may have been an item sold at a national park gift shop in the 1930s or 1940s. Many national parks sold various images of Native Americans at that time. There is also a possibility that it could have been purchased at a reservation ... moreor Native American shop in the 1930s- 1950s, however I do not suspect that is the case since these shops usually sold traditional art made by people from that tribe. This item would make an incredible decorative conversation piece. It would look fantastic as an accent piece in a mid-century style home or apartment. Please email me to request more information and/or photos. Please have a look at my other items for sale. Thank You.

Large Original Antique Signed Franz Bergmann Lamp - Native American War Dance
Large Original Antique Franz Bergmann Lamp- Native American War Dance Large Original Antique Franz Bergmann Lamp- Native American War Dance Offered here is a very rare original Franz Bergmann bronze lamp. Titled for reference"Native American War Dance" Two large male figures dance around an illuminated bonfire. The piece is approximately 9 inches high, 13 inches wide, and 6 inches front to back. It is one of the most thoroughly marked Bergmanns you will ever see: each figure is marked with"GESCHUTZ" and the model number; both figure's shields are also marked with the Bergmann logo and"GESCHUTZ" The bonfire is a wonderful example of the Bergmann foundry talent. The woodpile is too complicated to cast in one piece. It appears that the inner framework was cast then about 100 branches and twigs were separately ... morecast and brazed or soldered together and individually painted. The figures are wonderfully realized- their movement realistically captured. It's remarkable work. The wiring has been redone: old tape has been removed and the wiring reconnected with wire nuts; the old frayed cord has been replaced with new fabric covered lamp cord which duplicates the original. The whole sculpture is in excellent antique condition. Ready to display. This is one of the rarest Bergmann pieces I've encountered: in over 60 years of collecting, I've seen one such piece and this is that piece. It's not pictured in any of the bronze references we have, and we have most of them. I've also reviewed over 1000 Bergmann auction records and not seen it. We are starting at a reasonable price for a Bergmann lamp of this quality and rarity. With the option for offers. Please wait for the invoice; Ebay's shipping calculations don't include insurance. Returns are accepted only in case of misrepresentation but our guarantee of authenticity is without time limit. We're not offering to ship internationally because of insurance limits.
