Antique Pair Architectural Street Light Base Cast iron Table Plinth Planters
Up for consideration is a fine pair cast iron neoclassical street light bases. The pieces are tagged with a small brass tag on each base"The Union Metal Manufacturing Co. Canton Ohio" The pieces measure 15 inches by 15 inches by 11 inches tall. The casting has larger foliate and acanthus leaves. They date from the late teens to the early 1920's and were part of the street lighting in Detroit. 5 pairs are available. Pieces will be sent via FedEx. 19th Century Wrought Iron Table BRIDGE Lamp Candle Stand bird adjustable light
I am not an expert on this item so please look at the photos and make your own decisions and ask any questions you may have. My father found this 20 years ago and now due to him being Ill we are starting to sell some items. I love the bird carving on the top. It is about 26 inches tall and about 12 inches wide It is rusty and shows no sign of paint. Fully adjustable to any height UP TO 26 INCHES And very heavy probably around 5 to 10 lbs The cup portion under where the bulb or candle would go seem to have some heavy rust damage. This area is very fragile and I just hope it can withstand the shipping process. I will do my very best to wrap it carefully but I can not promise this portion will survive the mailing/ Please contact me for a more exact shipping cost. In original condition and not even cleaned. Vintage Wrought Iron Basket This basket is a beautiful piece and very detailed. It is black in color and oblong in shape. It sits on scalloped feet. Measurements are: 15" long x 10" wide in the middle and 4" tall. There are some rusty areas but can be fixed with a little black paint. Please see photos.
