I have up for sale the most handsome piece of copper I have seen. It is a heavy hand made piece that would hold a cooking pot. The piece measures 10 1/2 inches H x 8 1/2 diameter not including brass handles. It is in fabulous condition and is all orginal right down to the alcohol burner. Signed REUGGER NY. This company was started in late 1800's and then a fabulous commercial cooking store was built in 1927. I have searched for the last day for a pic of one like mine. There are some that are close. But they are not as old and one that looked a bit like it was not as bold. This looks like it would fit in well with Roycroft pieces. This kettle retains its beauty unlike most that are seen of this age. I believe it was used over a hearth perhaps for cooking apple butter etc. The handle is so sturdy and is a work of art, please see closeup photos. The seam down one side is dovetailed, the large eyelets that hold the handle are fastened with rivets that are hand made, very secure. The kettle is 6 inches wide, 5 1/4" tall. Vintage Heavy Hand Made Copper Lamp with Heavy Copper Shade
HAND MADE COPPER LAMP This all copper lamp is an exceptional find and may very well be one-of-a-kind. It is very heavy weighing 9 pounds. 9 ounces with the shade alone weighing 5 pounds, 2 ounces. The tower is constructed a lighter gauge copper with all seams hand welded, brazed, or soldered. The lamp stands 32 1/2" from the bottom to the top of the finial, is 9" across at it's widest point, and the shade measures 11" high with a 17 1/2" diameter bottom, and a 10 1/2" top diameter. This lamp also has a three position switch allowing for a three way bulb and it works good. I have tried to research the company and have come up with nothing. Very nice copper boiler in very good hard to find condition. It is all hand made of heavy gauge solid copper. Weighs 19 pounds 11 ounces. Much heaver than almost all boilers. This is a very nice and very heavy copper bedwarmer. It has a solid brass cap on top. The bedwarmer is 12-3/4" long. 9-1/2" wide and 4-1/4" high not counting the cap.
