Up for auction is a large. Vintage, Copper and Brass, Ash/Coal, Bucket/Scuttle with Delft Porcelain Handles. This scuttle has a beautiful patina and is overall in very good vintage condition. There is a small chip on the outer edge of the top handle as shown in one of the pictures. Also shown is some slight irregularity to the metal which is natural to this kind of piece and only adds to the charm. The scuttle is 14 inches tall to the top of handle. 12 inches from front lip to outside of the back handle and 8.5 inches across the width of the opening. Antique Solid Brass Pot/Kettle/Bucket/Other? Heavy 6lbs
This is a heavy Antique Solid Brass Pot. Kettle or other? It is 5" tall not counting the handle and with handle is 12" tall and 10" in diameter. Handle is riveted on, does not move and appears to also be brass and a very solid piece of it, I can see the brass color under all that patina. Needs to be cleaned as you can see in pics inside and out, or leave as is, lots of patina and inside is pretty dirty and needs to be cleaned. It's a very unique looking pot but I cannot find any markings anywhere that would indicate who the maker is. This Please email me with any? you may have and remember this is an antique piece and will probably not be in perfect shape, but I see no major issues. This is very heavy[ 6 lb] so shipping cost is a estimate only and any overcharges will be returned to the buyer. Please look at my other items!

Hard to find and price because the fitted lions heads and claw foot bottom makes this either a little more rare or nobody that has one is posting them. This is an Ansonia Brass CO bucket.

Up for auction is a wonderful antique copper& brass planter or wine bucket. WMF WURTTEMBERGISCHE METALLWARENF Art Nouveau Period/ Germany It has ornate brass handles that swoop upward from the sides. This handsome piece is in excellent condition and boasts a beautiful patina. Marked on the bottom with a diamond shape with an emu bird in the center. I was told at an antique fair that this artful item is from the early 20th century. Probably 1890- 1920. It measures about 8 1/2" to the top of the pot and about 10 1/2" to the top of the handles. This is an extremely rare antique handmade 18th century Asian water pot. the wooden walls of this bucket is cut from one large piece of wood/tree so has no seams nor was it pieced together. It is composed of two pieces of wood. The sides and the bottom. a very rare design. The wooden structure is decorated with both vertical and horizontal extremely ornate brass bands which are raised and dimensional with beautifully hand engraved and cut out detailing. the pieces are beautifully riveted together with heavy duty brass rivets. the inside. Bottom, and rim also have the same beautiful brass pieces running down the walls to the bottom of the bucket. the handle is handmade from thick brass and a very innovative design which pivots up and down. each exposed wooden panel has a hand cut and engraved animal made from brass. it has Elephants. Antique BRASS PAIL Farm Milk Bucket 11" Diameter - Meriden, Conn.
This is a lovely. Very old, ANTIQUE BRASS PAIL/ FARM MILK BUCKET#11/ 11" DIAMETER. MADE IN MERIDEN, CONNECTICUT. Pail measures 11" across(diameter opening) and 7-1/2" high. Bottom measures 8" across. The number"11" is stamped on the metal piece affixed to each sides through which the handle is looped. Pail has a great patina. Although there is slight evidence of it having been polished long ago. It has many use marks, some scratches, scuffs, corrosion marks, slight scraps, dings. discolorations, and minor dents. It has one crack/split- which obviously had been repaired/soldered long ago, but has reopened. A great antique primitive piece, despite- or perhaps because of- all its age/use related infirmities. Rolled top rim. Swing handle. Maker's name is stamped on bottom. But unfortunately entire name is not ... morereadable(at least to my eye) The only clearly readable letters are"Meriden, Conn. Antique Brass Bucket Flower Planter Snake Handles Copper Old Chinese India Asian
Item Description: Old brass bucket with a copper made holder in the middle and two handles on the side. Each handle looks like 2 snakes biting a diamond shaped thing and joint in the middle. Not sure about the exact age. Guessing it could be from before the turn of the century at 1900. It has a very nice yellowish patina looks like gold color on the brass as one sometimes finds on real old brass pieces. This could be from a Chinese origin. It could also be from India as snake is a favorite subject in India. Not sure what was this originally used for. I am using it as a planter to hold flower pot and it works well. The bucket is well made and there is no obvious damage. No markings. Some real old Chinese pieces have no markings. It measures 7 inches in diameter. This is a lovely. Old, ANTIQUE BRASS PAIL/ FARM MILK BUCKET. KETTLE#11/ 11" DIAMETER x 7-1/2" tall, MADE IN/BY MERIDEN. Pail measures 11" across(diameter opening) and 7-1/2" high. Bottom measures 8" across. The number"11" is stamped on the metal piece affixed to each sides through which the handle is looped. Pail has a great patina. Although there is slight evidence of it having been polished long ago. It has many use marks, some scratches, scuffs, corrosion marks, slight scrapes, dings. discolorations, and minor dents. It has one crack/split- which obviously had been repaired/soldered long ago, but has reopened. A great antique primitive piece, despite- or perhaps also because of- all its age/use related infirmities. Rolled top rim. Swing handle. Maker's name is stamped on bottom. The bucket has a nice rolled rim and a loop handle made out of a ferrous metal(it sticks to a magnet) with hooked ends inserted into brass eyelets situated on both sides of the bucket.
