RARE 1920s APOLLO STUDIOS NEW YORK INCA HUMIDOR ART NOUVEAU/DECO MIXED MATERIAL I recently purchased some items from an estate in Florida. The sellers were non smoking and the house was pet free. Up for bid is a great old piece from Apollo Studios in New York. You collectors know all about Apollo so I will not waste your time with extra details. Our research shows this mark was used on pieces from 1909-1922.We have determined this is a humidor or loose tobacco jar/container. We think th is is copper over silver plate but are not sure. The bottom says Apollo Studios New York" INCA" and the number 1153. There is an Inca design around the perimeter and the piece is about 6" tall and 6" wide. As far as condition there are a few dings/dents around the bottom edge in a couple of places. Not bad but they are there. There is a ... moreweld spot that has come loose on the inside of the cover. Antique Bronze Slag Glass Filigree Lantern Arts Crafts Candle Box Apollo Studios
Wonderful Bronze Verdigris Slag Glass Lantern Box. Not marked. This came out of Vivian estate. She is the owner of The Shakers Inc. Since 1987 The Shaker Inc. has been the leading liquidating co. for the most wealthy estates in the Cleveland area. I was able to purchase a few of pieces from her personal collection. I tried to research the piece. I think it is a candle box. There is a small amount of wax residue on the inside from former use. It is high quality. No chips or cracks on any of the slag glass inserts. Does have one professional repair to ball leg see pics. It goes unnoticed. I did not see this until close inspection. But it is a solid repair.Aprox. 5" tall 3"wide. I think it is a rare find. The only other candle box similar was made by Apollo Studios.

This ice bucket measures 9 1/2" tall and about 7 1/3 to 8" in dia. The exterior is in great shape. It has a few spots and scratches, and also a small corrosion spot that measures about a 1/2 in dia. The interior is in great shape. The glass is marked as thermos and is coded with mercury behind the glass inside to provide the chrome reflective look you see in the photos. Also notice the sides are trimmed in a silver metal. the metal is a engine turned Guilloche with no enamel coating on the top. this is also sandwiched between the 2 plates of glass. Very sturdy very clean. sits on 4 round feet.they can screw loose and the clamps will turn if you want to change the lace or clean the plates of glass. It is more than spectacular. I have taken pictures with a couple of my perfume bottles with silver hardware. to give you an idea of the size and how nice it is to display your perfumes with silver hardware. Riviere or Apollo Studios Tiffany Style Desk Clock Pine Needle Spider Cobwebb
This is a desk timepiece. Probably by Riviere Studios of New York, but possibly by Apollo Studios. The metal overlay is in a cob or spider web pattern similar to the Tiffany Pine Needle pattern. There are four panels of slag glass, one with minor damage. The clock movement is by Seth Thomas with a 2-inch porcelain dial. The movement is not working. There is a easel on the back but it is loose. The front is 7 3/4 x 7 inches.

This is an Original wonderfully created piece hand crafted gilted brass 4 piece vanity set. The closest I found to its style was the"Cleopatra's Boudoir. Vintage Ormolu Vanity Accessories and Perfume Bottles" This was passed on to my Grandmother. With tons of Apollo, Holycraft, and Kramer jewelry, that I will be listing in my auctions.
