Charming. Heavy, high quality set of original Ronson bookends featuring a Cherub, Butterfly and Frog. The Cherub is sitting comfortably with her back resting on the book shaped backplate. She is holding the butterfly on her hand while down on the corner of the baseplate a tiny frog looks on. Adorable. This set is intricately detailed and in good condition. There are some nicks in the rear of the backplate edge. The finish is in very good condition. There are no cracks, repairs, or touch-ups. Welcome to my auction. I am not an expert. I found this at an estate sale and am drawing my information from research. This wonderful piece measures approximately 15 1/8" at it's tallest point 6 3/4" at the widest tip to tip of the base 6 1/8" from the handle to the spout and about 5 1/8" at the center. I believe this is an antique ewer from the mid to late 1800's. It has beautiful ormolu decoration with a cherub on the face of the spout and acanthus leaves on the base. Amid the rest of the scroll and floral detail. I believe it to be brass or perhaps a combination of brass and other metals. And it weighs a heavy 3 1/2 pounds.

This piece is in nice shape with a minor patina and possibly a few minor bumps on the brass from being moved around many years. Nothing major to report at all. The only letters that can be made out are the"AUG" which matches up with the other piece where you can see the signature a little more clearly. Antique Round Bronze Plaque Cherub 1800?
I purchased this years ago at an auction. It was represented as a bronze from the 1700-1800's from England. It is a beautiful piece that measures about 8.5" round and has a depth of about 1.75" The cherubs are beautiful and I have received many compliments on this item. There is writing on the back that is very aged that says"Bronze plaque repouacee' decoration of 3 cherubs. England. Ca 1800. I do not see any makers mark but also would not know where to look for one. Its a very heavy piece for its size and shows little signs of wear. 100% feedback rating, bid with confidence. Man Cave Antique Cast Iron Coat Arms Dragon Snakes Cherub Griffin Sword Scabbard
Old cast iron coat of arms(may be an old reproduction. am not sure) with lots of symbolism throughout. a serpent engaged in battle with a fire-breathing dragon. Beautiful crescent moon with a smile; a placid angel head/cherub at the end of the scabbard; more serpents(a serpent attacking a griffin on the scabbard) torches on fire etc; below that, a lion's head on the grip of the sword. it continues in much detail. hopefully, all are reflected with some clarity in the photos(if not, drop a line and I will forward more photos) All details are executed clearly and nicely. It is all intact and in good over-all condition with some surface rust but was lightly treated/oiled by its prior owner so it looks"rich. It is really heavy, is mounted on a wood plaque with a covering of cloth(which was painted at some time in its past) and the main ... morepieces are bolted(as shown in photo) to the wood. There is a reinforced covered wire on the back for mounting. It measures 34" and 28-1/2" wide at the top. There are good three-dimensional features to the entire piece. Again, it is very heavy- I can drop it off at a local shipper for packing and shipping, or, I can do it myself. Either way, it will take a very large box and extreme packaging to protect it.

Antique Small Covered Urn w/ 3 Bronze Dragons on Black Stand & Cherub Lid, Great
This is an absolutely fabulous older piece which dates back the the early turn of the century; early 1900's. The small urn portion by itself is a heavy black metal. The stand is a black metal as well. The piece is very well made. The ornaments, dragons and cherub, are bronze. The urn is in excellent condition, with no flaws whatsoever. Adorning the bowl of the urn are 3 winged dragons with clawed feet, which have a great attention to detail. The lid is beautifully made with a cherub standing on top, the angel is holding and playing a small harp or mandolin. None of these metal adornments are attracted by a magnet. The urn weighs about 4 pounds and stands just under 10 in with the lid on. The lid itself is just over 4 and a 1/2 in tall. When measured all the way around at the widest part, it was just about 14 in. This is a wonderful piece ... moreof metal sculpture, very different, and quite beautiful. I haven't seen an urn as nice as this one before, the way it was made, and how it was made. The smaller size of it makes it very desirable as does the exceptional condition it presents itself in. Collectors and enthusiasts of antique metal pieces will certainly covet a piece such as this one. The urn ships for free to the continental United States and Puerto Rico.

Up for auction is a superb antique French Empire figural bronze bowl in the form of a seashell chariot lead by a swan with a winged cupid at the helm. Beautiful detail. There are raised flowers and rays inside the bowl. Twisted rope reins, figural gnarled branch foot, and acanthus leaf skirt. It is in very good condition with normal signs of age. Thanks for looking today! I have a lovely metal work cherub. Holding a votive on his head. I believe his body and scrollwork pedestal he is standing on to be silver or plated. Please look closely at photo#3, and you can see where two different metals meet. I don't want to wreck the aged patina for those in search of just that. The holder on the top of the cherubs head has a gold or amber tint to the glass. From the base to the top of the glass it measures 8" tall. The diameter of the base is. It is also quite hefty. There are no markings that I can find, so if you're reading this you probably know considerable more about the subject than I do. I ship fast, and I hope this is the one you've been looking for!

Up for bid is an extremely rare matching set of candle holders and table bowl. My grandmother bought this set new in 1918/19 while visiting NY city and upon her passing my mother inherited the set which we in turn inherited in 1981 along with it's family history. When we liquidated my mothers estate in 1981 I was offered to put the set on consignment in a Palm Beach. This is for the cherub lover! This is such a pretty and ornate antique cast brass and pressed glass compote. The adorable brass cherub sets upon a marble base and supports a beautiful fancy clear pressed glass bowl. This would look so pretty filled with crystal fruit. A pillar candle and silk flowers or even a beautiful ivy plant. It measures approximately 8 inches in height. 6 inches in diameter at the top and 4 inches in diameter at the base. It is in wonderful antique condition. There are no cracks, chips or breaks in the glass. The glass itself is clear with no stains or cloudiness. The brass cherub has a wonderful aged patina and has no dents or dings. The marble base is in great condition with no cracks, gouges or breaks. Antique French Empire Gold Gilt Ormolu Bronze Marble Cherub Statue Figurine
Up for auction is a beautiful antique 19th century French bronze ormolu cherub mounted to a marble base. This would have probably gone onto a lamp base or casket box. There are two exposed screws on the bottom of the marble. Very fine. Exquisite detail, down to the individual feathers and floral headband. Winged cupid is playing an aulos. In very good condition with one half of the double pipe is missing, looks like a stress fracture to the wing which does not appear to go all the way around, repair to the marble on the back side. A beautiful ornate decorative Brass or Bronze urn. It is 12" tall and weighs 2 lbs 9 ounces. It is in very good condition and has not been cleaned. I am not sure of its age. The 1st photo was taken outside to give the best representation. The 2nd photo is of the inside bottom and it appears to be made of Bronze. I am not sure of the age but it is made well and looks to be older. I could find no identifying marks on this piece.

Antique Vintage Cast Iron And Brass Cherub Plant Stand
A lovely antique or vintage plant stand. I think it could be late Victorian but I'm not sure. It's very old. The base has beautiful detailed work and the cherub is just adorable and the brass bowl on top is very nicely done. It's in good shape a little pitting as shone in the pictures. I think is normal wear for something this old. He measures 16 inches high and the bowl on top is just the right size for a small plant. The brass bowl measures 5 x 5 1/2 inches. This is a stunning antique ornate Victorian gold gilded solid bronze cherub centerpiece compote bowl. it is made from solid bronze and is a very heavy piece. the finish is gilded in gold and has acquired a lovely patina from age. the base is made from three trumpet playing cherubs sitting on an ornate ring holding the bowl with their heads. there is also a flame finial on the center of the bowl underneath. the bowl is pretty large and is equally as ornate with a heavily embossed floral rim. the piece is in nice antique shape measuring 9 1/4 inches in diameter by 7 1/4 inches tall. Antique Nouveau Pairpoint SPELTER CHERUB PEDESTAL Bronze Finish Marble Base
Up for auction is a beautiful. Art nouveau, Pairpoint statue. It measures 8 inches high and 4 inches wide. This statue includes a spelter, with bronze finish, cherub pedestal, with a dental embellished work, on spelter and marble base. The cherub is holding an open holder that's decorated with a fruit and floral garland and swag decor. This holder would usually have a small, Pairpoint glass bowl. It would be easy enough to find another small glass bowl. The bottom has C1433 stamped on it. If you look at photo#6, you'll see a small chip on the corner of the marble based.
