Vintage(maybe antique) Stained Glass Window I have 2 of these windows listed in two separate auctions. This auction is for only one of them. The pictures in this auction are of the window you are bidding on. The picture of the 2 windows together is for reference only. The glass is all obscure(the type you would put in a bathroom) Most of the window is colorless glass with the center flower design made up of Green. Lighter amber, and darker amber glass. Note: the center of the flower is a heart. The individual panes are separated by soldered lead. The size of the window pane is about 16” by 13” and the overall frame is about 19 ½” by 18” and is about 1 ¾” thick. The window and frame weighs about 8 ½ pounds. Here are 2 vintage? holly leaf wreath stained glass window hangings. The first wreath as a small metal bow and red glass berries. It has a diameter of apx. 6 3/4 inches from one berry across to the another berry. It is soddered to a metal ring to help it keep its shape. The second wreath has a candle in the middle and the tails of a bow hanging down. This does not have a metal ring in the back to help it keep its shape. It can be moved slightly. There is a small red spot on the top right corner of the candle. This wreath is apx. 8 1/2 inches from the top to the bottom of the bow tail. Both of these come to you in as found condition. They could use a cleaning. The holly leaves on both and the candle and flame have textured glass. They both have fishing line on them so that they can be hung. These are beautiful pieces that come in the original wood frame. The windows measure approximately 14 3/4" x 45" in the frame. It features some really nice colors with a classic Prairie style design. There is a row of clear textured glass around the edges with multi-colored designs in the upper center and an arrow shape in the lower center. There are green and caramel colored panels with accent pieces that look like reflective gold foil. These windows came from an early 1900's home on the south side of Chicago. From a local estate. And offering for auction, a set of 2 leaded glass window corner panels. The panels consist of several shades of green leaves and grapes of blues and reds on a textured green glass border. They measures 13 1/4" x 12" They are as they were found at a kitchen window and look as thought they need cleaning. The leading is heavy in all areas. The third photo was taken with sunlight behind it. The first 2 photos were taken without bright sun light. The panels may be used as shown in the 4th photo, however, the textured side of the glass must be reversed on one side leaving that side with the smooth glass facing forward. The only reason I noticed the cracks is because someone put scotch tape on them. Because cracks are from metal to metal sections I believe they will not get worse and crazy glue should fix permanently.
