VINTAGE ANTIQUE BRASS WALL HOOK PAINTED BROWN CHILDREN SAILING ON SHIP
This is an unusual brass wall hook that is painted brown. It looks to me like children sailing on a ship(but I could be wrong) The hook part is a figure of a man in robes and with a staff in his hand. I can't find any markings on it. It is 4-3/4" long and 2-1/4" wide. It is in nice shape. A little bit of paint has worn off. I also added some computer enhanced photos which show a little more detail but they do change the color of the hook.

Antique,Vintage,Wood Steamer Trunk,Chest,Ornate Brass,Eagle Lock Co.,1833-1954
Nice Old Antique Trunk. I am not sure of the exact age. But the lock on it is from Eagle Lock Co. Eagle lock was in business from 1833-1954. So the age of the trunk lies in that time frame. It is adorned with black metal trim and ornate brass accents. This old trunk does show it's age in places. But there is nothing major. A few nicks, and there are a few dents or ding marks in the black metal trim. On the top front you will see there is 2 areas of chipped or worn off wood, a small amount enough to where wood putty filler should be an easy fix if you wish. There is also a very small chip place on the side you can see in pic 6. One of the hinges on the back is missing one button, see pic 9, and there is some separation on some of the brass corner pieces you can see in pic 12. I think I have mentioned every flaw. But please see all the ... morepictures for the best description. For a trunk this old I consider its condition to be normal. Also, this would make a nice coffee table. the top is flat. Here is an antique hammered copper vase or maybe a drinking vessel or jug. It has an Arts& Crafts era look to it with deep recessed circle sides. It measures about 7 1/2" tall. It is stamped CHINA on the bottom.It has a couple minor dents and dings here and there. There are 2 small square like marks on each side. Not sure what they are they for. There is 1 seam on the side. Antique Vintage Hollow Body Copper Rooster Weathervane W/Balls & Brass Compass
A no reserve auction for a very nice. Complete antique copper rooster weathervane. Rooster is hollow body copper as is the arrow bit the tip if arrow is cast brass. Both balks are damage free copper. The direction indicator is cast brass and perfect. I picked this up at a estate sale and it was disassembled. I provided the copper tubing which fit all the pieces perfectly and without modification. Everything is original patina and has no corrosion or pitting. Arrow measures 26" long. 22" tall from bottom of arrow to roosters comb. Small ball is 2-1/4" Large ball is 4-1/4" Directional is 22" x 18" and letters are 3-3/4" tall. Overall height is approx 48" but is adjustable depending on copper tube length. NY from 1879 to 1924, and was succeeded by Reed& Barton. DESCRIPTION A sterling silver on copper wine cooler/ice bucket with flower scroll and leaf decoration. Double handles, ribbed pedestal base& lid. The silver Hallmark on the underside of the base is that of Theodore Starr Silversmiths. New York, New York. MEASUREMENTS are 10-1/4 inches high(with lid) x 22-1/2 inch diameter(not counting handles which add 3 inches) CONDITION The outside of the cooler and lid is shiny with no loss of silver. There is some faint tarnish ... morewhich should be easy to remove when new owner polishes it. There is one very tiny ding located about ¾ of an inch from the bottom of the cooler& in the same location on the inside. As I stated. It is very small and therefore, barely noticeable. In the middle of the bottom, where there is a small amount of oxidation. Overall. This is an very large. Rare 2 gallon antique tea pot made primarily of brass. The bottom is copper and seems to have been welded on at some point as there is a weld line all the way around the bottom. The condition is a little rough; there are a few dings, the metal is dull, and the bottom is blackened from use, but it is still useable and would make a nice display piece because if its age and unique size.
