Drawer Pulls Antique Vintage Brass and Lucite
This set of three(3) Luc ite and brass drawer pulls is absolutely gorgeous. The total weight is 7.7 oz. The three are definitely a set as they are graduated in design. Check the pictures and you will see that the Luc ite is located at a different level on each pull- graduated as the pulls would go down a desk front or other piece of furniture. The pulls are in excellent condition. They measure 2" square and the brass round is 7/8" in diameter and 1 1/4" long. The lucite is beveled around the inside edge. Check out my! THESE ARE REALLY OLD NICKEL OVER IRON BIN PULLS. They are 3 1/2" long and 1" wide. Some of the nickel plating has worn off.But that gives them a very nice aged patina. On the back side, photo#6, they have the letter P followed by 1628, P1628. This could be a patent date,but I'm not sure. If it is, that makes them really old. 4 large handles and 4 decorative accent pieces/pulls. I think the finish is brass but I'm not sure. The large handles measure 7 3/4" long and are 3" bolt to bolt. The small pieces are 2 1/2" long and have one bolt and one'pin' that are 1 3/4" apart. The'pin' part appears to just be to make it more stable.you can see this in the last picture) They show some wear and some roughness on the finish. But they are in decent vintage condition. Up for consideration is this Large Assortment of Hardware. I am unsure of the maker or year. I assume they are vintage. Used hardware. Used pulls and knobs. 33 pieces in all. Great for new construction, remodeling or restoration. Nice for crafts. Drawer pulls made of a heavy metal with what appears to be a copper colored finish. 25 pulls each measuring 5 3/4 inches long and set off the door-drawer approximately 1 inch. Very nice condition. Solid made. 8 round pulls which appear to be all copper. Each weigh 2.8 ounces. Hardware has not been cleaned just as I found them. Some light paint on the backside. This is a set of two. Ornate, antique drawer pulls with drop-down handles. They measure approximately 3in. from hole to hole. Overall measurements: 4in. long* 2 1/2in. from the peak of the backplate to the bottom of the drop-down handle* 1 1/8in. long screw These are original and came off the drawer of an antique commode. Not sure if they are brass. Copper or bronze(a magnet does not stick, if that's helpful) On the back, where the screw meets the backplate, one screw is tightly sodered, the other has some movement. Same design with slight variations, one pull marked with the patent date of Dec 23 1873 and the other is not. I believe they were from two different molds because the one pull that is marked is very irregular on the bottom edge apparently from a very worn mold. The edge is very smooth just a factory defect. This is a great set of eight(8) bakelite drawer pulls from the 1930s or so- sleek round shape with rings on the front and a great butterscotch color! Perfect for finishing that restoration project! These are in excellent condition. There looks like small chips on the edges but there are no chips- they look to be manufacturing flaws? At any rate. They look like they could be lightly sanded to make them smooth again. They measure 1 inch in diameter. They are 3/4" deep and 7/16" diameter at the screw end. These pulls measures 5 1/2" long x 1 5/8" tall x 7/8" thick. It is my best belief that they are walnut. The screw holes are 4 5/16" apart center to center. They have their original finish that looks to be varnish with no stain.
