Mid 18th Century Brass Candlestick
This is a very elaborate Queen Anne candlestick. It dates somewhere between 1730 and1760 and has a wonderful patina. The threads are of the course variety found on the earlier period sticks. It is 6 3/4" tall with a 4" octagonal base. It has an unusually large 2 3/4" bobeche. It is in excellent condition. And has a wonderful uncleaned patina. It has three little holes in the bobeche, apparently where someone used to hang it or carry it. See my other listings for additional candlesticks.
18th century Spanish Candlestick
This is an attractive candlestick that is probably Spanish or lower continental. It is of cast brass and some of these are found with a core support pin of steel. It is 7" tall. 4" octagonal base, nice overall patina. I say Spanish because we found a number of these in Texas that came out of Mexico. See our other listings for other candlesticks. We guarantee all of them to be of the period represented.
A RARE 18TH CENTURY BRASS CANDLESTICK DEPICTING THE BALD EAGLE
This is a rare 18th century brass candlestick depicting the bald eagle. Very few of this design are known to have survived. It measures 16 cm high x 7 cm diameter at the base. I have deliberately left in the condition that it was found as I personally prefer it that way. As do many collectors.

18th c. Georgian or American Federal Brass Hogscraper Candlestick Holder c. 1790
This brass"hogscraper" type candlesick is beautifully and heavily wrought. It has a simple cylindrical shaped column on a ring and baluster formed base. There are rope moldings around the top and bottom of the base. The candle pusher is in nice functioning condition. The interior of the base is beautifully turned and finished. I have not cleaned or polished this candlestick and it has a beautiful old lustrous patina with a few superficial spots of verde gris colored corrosion that I think do not distract in the least from the overall beauty of the piece. It stands straight and flatly and is 7.25" tall and is 4" in diameter at the base. Washington State residents please add 9.5% State Sales Tax. International residents please inquire about shipping rates.
