They have been repainted, have brighter gold paint, and then some areas of wear showing the old paint and the base metal. The man measures 13 1/4 ins. to the top, the woman 12 3/4 ins. They are unmarked. The man has a broken/cracked top back stem. And he also has a crack in the front part of his lower leg. Not all the way thyrough. The woman has no cracks or breaks. Someone can make new lamps out of these. Or use them as statues. You can re-paint them, scrub some old paint off, or leave as is. I would date these to the 1940's time frame. Thanks for viewing my auction! This is a Vintage Metal Hinged Pitcher! This is a tall Pitcher of Metal Composition. It has a hinge at the top with a lever composed of 2 Acorns. In order to hold the handle with your fist and reach with your thumb to push the Acorns and spring open the lid. This piece has a very nice design. But I am not sure what type of metal it is composed of. The underside is etched with a flower-shaped mark. And the pitcher is non-magnetic. This stands aprox. 8” tall& 4” in diameter. Not including the handle. It is in Very Good condition for it’s age. But shows some discoloration of the metal and scuff marks. I have not attempted to polish this. As I have no experience with it, and there is part of a sticker attached to the lid. This is a very Unique Piece at a Low Starting Bid!
