Differences include different shades of grey, some shiny-plating still present, light to heavy rust, while some are barely rusty at all. Some have dark patches on them, and a variety of less-than-perfect qualities. All of this to say that if you are envisioning some sort of uniformity with these keys, the greatest similarity between them, is that most of them have heavy rust, while others, that have been thoroughly cleaned, have little or no rust at all(please specify when ordering) Please feel free to make offers on one or more LOTS.As I am willing to offer discounts when more than one LOT is ordered. Vintage mortise lock with keeper and original working skeleton key stamped#30109- has a working thumb latch on top. This is parts from a Taylor Rim Knob Lock Set No. 3001- horizontal style. There are no knobs. No spindle, no key hole plate, no screws. The box is missing parts and pieces and is old, yellowed, worn and torn and I will flatten it for shipping. The keeper measures approximately 3 1/8" long x 3/4" wide, the lock face measures approximately 3 1/8" long x 11/16" and the part that goes inside is approximately 3 3/4" wide x 3" long and is 5/8" thick, the spindle hole is approximately 5/16" square.

I have a nice old reusable cast iron rim lock for your consideration. Could use a cleaning and lube with the removal of a single standard slot set screw. Driverod gear spring is strong and works latch. Locking lever for drive gear latch engages and disengages nicely. There is no skeleton key for deadbolt slide so you will have to use without it until one is either found or made. This is a heavier good quality box measuring 3 1/8 x 3 3/4 inches. Pair of early red clay black glazed doorknobs. A 1/4 inch driverod, cast iron rosette, cast iron keyhole trim cover for obverse side of lock, catch and some set screws for knobs are included.
