Beautiful Antique Carl Sorensen Art Deco Verdigris Patina Vases 1920s-30s Here is a lovely pair of bronze vases created in Eastern Pennsylvania by artist Carl Sorensen in the great Art Deco period of the 1920s- 1930s. Bronze with verdigris patina and lines of bronze showing in a circular pattern around the bottom and moving up to midway on the vases. Beautiful craftsmanship. Mr. Sorensen eventually sold his wares through Roycroft and Tiffany. Working for TIffany in the 1930s. Some of these vases were numbered. This pair is not. Here is a set of TWO antique bronze bust sculpture by the same artist. One is of SCHUBERT the other is MOZART. Both are signed by the artist K SCHWARZ The first one is SCHUBERT an is on a marble base. I'm not sure if it's original to the piece. But other examples of this artist's work show that he used this color marble, so it is very likely that it is original. Overall. It is 9" tall. There is a chip in the rear, lower part of the marble base. But since it is in the back, it is not noticeable in the front. The MOZART is 6 3/4" high and does not have a base. This is the SAME HEIGHT as the Schubert without the marble. As you can see there are some white spots here and there. I am quite sure this is some form of paint spots. It is 9.5 inch tall and 5 inch wide.
