It looks like it is made of copper and brass or some metal that gives that appearance. The la mp is hand embossed and hammered with decorative pattern detail. It has its original shade that has just one small hole in the back side but otherwise good condition showing normal wear for its age. The cord is original and has some brown paint on it. Up for auction is a samovar that I assume is Russian. I'm not sure if its brass or copper.I know nothing about these items. It appears quite old. It does have a broken handle but appears to have the broken part as well as other parts.not sure what else if anything is needed to make it complete.may all be there. Up for auction is a large. Vintage, Copper and Brass, Ash/Coal, Bucket/Scuttle with Delft Porcelain Handles. This scuttle has a beautiful patina and is overall in very good vintage condition. There is a small chip on the outer edge of the top handle as shown in one of the pictures. Also shown is some slight irregularity to the metal which is natural to this kind of piece and only adds to the charm. The scuttle is 14 inches tall to the top of handle. 12 inches from front lip to outside of the back handle and 8.5 inches across the width of the opening. Nice 2 Copper and Brass Decorative Ecuador Hanging Plates!
Here up for your consideration is 2 very nice Ecuador copper and brass plates to hang or to put in a plate holder. This set is in great condition not sure of the age but they do need a cleaning although they look very nice just the way they are! The largest plate is 7 1/2 inches in diameter and the smaller plate is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. They have metal hangers attached to the back would look fantastic sitting on a mantel or a cabinet or hanging on the wall. Antique Vintage Hollow Body Copper Rooster Weathervane W/Balls & Brass Compass
A no reserve auction for a very nice. Complete antique copper rooster weathervane. Rooster is hollow body copper as is the arrow bit the tip if arrow is cast brass. Both balks are damage free copper. The direction indicator is cast brass and perfect. I picked this up at a estate sale and it was disassembled. I provided the copper tubing which fit all the pieces perfectly and without modification. Everything is original patina and has no corrosion or pitting. Arrow measures 26" long. 22" tall from bottom of arrow to roosters comb. Small ball is 2-1/4" Large ball is 4-1/4" Directional is 22" x 18" and letters are 3-3/4" tall. Overall height is approx 48" but is adjustable depending on copper tube length. Beautiful EARLY Large copper + brass ewer with lid, excellent form, amazing size
This auction is for a beautiful antique copper and brass lidded ewer/water carrier. I purchaced this beautiful item out of a barn here in the Midcoast Maine area. Where it had clearly been stored and sitting for quite some time. This ewer measures 12-13 inches tall from base to the tip of the lid(the handle adds about 2-3 inches in height) 8 inches in diamater at the base, and about 10 inches in diameter at its widest point. This beautiful ewer has all the markings of being a wonderful early piece. It has a simple yet elegant design and form. The base appears to have been made to possibly sit within a brazier for warming. The condition of this piece is very solid for its age. It appears that there may have been some early work done on re-sealing the bottom of the ewer at one point in its history. The ewer only shows light dents and scuffs ... moreappropriate to its age otherwise. The seams appear to be watertight upon visual inspection. But I have not tested them any other way. Please refer to the images, or feel free to ask more questions for clarification. The ewer has a nice early construction seam down the back and clear turn marks and hammer marks throughout giving some indication of the age of its construction. I would estimate that the piece is turn of the century. 1900 or so in construction. The owners of the piece previous to me stated that they had believed it to be of Turkish or Persian origin, but there are no stamps or maker marks on the piece to give clear indication. Its design suggests Turkish/Ottoman revival, but I cannot be sure. I am starting this beautiful oversized ewer off at what I believe to be a low/fair price and with no reserve. I welcome any and all questions for clarification on this piece as I admit my knowledge to be somewhat limited in this area. Good luck and happy bidding on this wonderful early copper and brass ewer. This is a wonderful antique(pre 1910 see patent dates in pictures) 6 cup tin-lined Copper Bodied Samover handcrafted by Manning Bowman& Co. has turned wood handles on sides and lid. And a beautiful brass spigot with a wooden handle. The copper has a fantastic patina with a rainbow hue. As noted above the burner unit is missing the fuel tank filler cover and the internal wick mechanism. The fuel tank has some small dents on the bottom, but is not visible when it is assembled. The rest of this piece is dent free and is a fantastic display piece for your collection. The assembled height is 14" and the base is 6 1/2" across. Vintage Antique Large 2 Gallon Brass and Copper Tea Pot Kettle
This is an very large. Rare 2 gallon antique tea pot made primarily of brass. The bottom is copper and seems to have been welded on at some point as there is a weld line all the way around the bottom. The condition is a little rough; there are a few dings, the metal is dull, and the bottom is blackened from use, but it is still useable and would make a nice display piece because if its age and unique size. For sale is a RARE BRASS JAM POT MARKED with a SPHINX and some writing that I am unable to decipher at this point. I have never seen a piece with this mark before and I can not find another online. I have spent hours researching this maker's mark and I'm coming up with nothing! PLEASE-if anyone has in formation about the origin of this mark. Let me know! Antique Chinese Tea Kettle Pot Brass On Copper Scenic Old China Motif Bat Bamboo
Antique Chinese Brass Kettle Teapot 8 1/2" wide/ 11" From Spout/ 7" Deep/ 11" to Top of Handle Wonderful old brass tea kettle decorated with people in oriental garden setting with bamboo. Clouds, bats and lotus flowers etched, engraved, pounded and hammered with nice texture and beautiful detail. This has a dovetailed cover with notched turn and lock style lid, there is an applied Bat with 4" wide wing span surrounding the spout and it is marked with writing that says Made in China in fancy old style wide lettering. There are thick calcium deposits and build up inside, the bottom is a little warped at the base so it wobbles slightly, the black swag handle may have repairs and is attached with rivets. This was an estate sale purchase in the early 1970's from an antique dealer that passed away years ago, it has ... morenot been polished for at least 10 years and does show the age with light oxidation and natural patina. There are minor dents and dings around the lower section and base is pushed in a little on side under spout, maybe from tipping when full and some copper is showing through on base. Gorgeous Antique Russian Hammered Brass Vase or Jardiniere with a Copper Rim
Here is a beautiful antique Russian hammered brass vase or jardiniere with copper trim around the top and four little"legs" on the bottom. Each leg is attached with a copper rivet. The quality of construction is amazing on this piece. The entire bowl is hand hammered. The curves are beautifully executed, and the rolled copper rim is exquisite. The outside has been polished to a wonderful warm and shiny patina while the interior has been left dark, revealing its age, which I estimate to be late 19th century. It is water-tight and in excellent condition, with no dings, dents, or repairs. It measures 7" tall by 10 1/2" wide by 5" deep. There are no marks on this piece, but I believe it is Russian. I have a hammered brass vase that is trophy-shaped, and it has a flat bottom with Russian hallmarks, and I'm convinced ... moreit was made by the very same metalsmith who made this piece. The construction on the two pieces and their hammered brass and copper rims are identical. It's quite possible that the curved bottom on this vase simply made it too difficult to add hallmarks. In any event, I guarantee this piece to be antique and all original. It's a beauty! Please note. The shipping quoted is for the lower 48 states.

Arts Crafts Hand Hammered Finely Planished Copper Brass Trumpet Vase Erp-Style
Lovely Arts and Crafts Trumpet/Tulip Vase. This piece is finely hand-hammered out of fairly heavy-gauge brass and has some very fine planishing in the workmanship-it has a mellow brass copper patina with just a touch of sienna and a smidgen of earth green. It is 7 1/4inch high.The mouth of the vase and the base/foot of the piece are both an equal 4 inches across.I'm no expert but i have owned some old A&C Metalwork-a couple of Van Erps and two Roycrofts,and as a as a guesstimate i'd say this piece was at least pre 1940's and most likely 20's-30's or before.There are no cracks or noticeable dings,soldering on bottom seems fairly tight. This piece is unsigned and was probably created at a Vocational School or by someone in an apprenticeship program.
