Punch Cups 9 Beaded With Cut Glass Base !940's -50's ( Very Nice )
Up for your consideration I have 9 vintage pressed glass beaded cups. They have a scalloped rim with beading just below it and 8 beaded panels with beads through out them. They have a nice cut glass base and measure almost 3"inchs circa 1940's- 1950's. It was hard to get a good pitcher because the glass is so clear so please look close at the pattern it is very pretty. Condition: Used the only thing that I could see is a teeny weeny fleck on the base rim and that was with a magnify glass otherwise they are all in very.Very, nice condition. Antique Beaded Pin Cushion Heart Shape Glass Beads Iroquois Sewing Souvenir Nice
I'm offering this very.Very nice early handmade, beaded pin cushion. I don't have written proof of what it is, but experience and research make it clear. It's probably an Iroquois made pin cushion, made from the late 1800's through early 1900's, made for the tourist trade in the Niagra Falls area of Canada or New York. It's shape, coloring, and glass beads place it in that time period. some say those beads were pre 1900, but there's no proof) The 4 1/2" 4 3/4" heart is in very good to great condition and skillfully made, with no holes from pins on the front velvet and only a few tiny holes on the back which is an oiled tightly woven cotton. The dark pink edges front and back are cotton. I can't see any missing beads and each of the 9 loops have all of the 4 larger beads on them. I have seen 1800's ... morepictures of this style being worn as a"necklace" by Native Americans/ First Nations tribal people. It is in great condition with only 2 spots where there are threads loose. Clean with no rips or tears, a couple spots on the red satin liner on the bottom, inside only. A bright red color. It is a very heavy purse due to the glass beads. Please look at the pictures closely to see what your getting, this is a great old collectible purse, and these can be very rare to find. The metal clamp that you lift up to get inside still has a lot of tension to the flap. Hand glass beads all around the handle also, that is where 1 of the loose strings is, no beads missing or falling off though, could be an easy fix. The shortest strand measures 20 inches in length and is fastens with a box clasp. The clasp is beaded with blue iridescent cut glass beads and faux pearls. All the metalwork is gold tone. It is beaded with glass faux pearls(8mm) and green and blue cut glass beads(12x8mm) which have an iridescent coating. Great quality and just lovely! Antique Hand Beaded Purse Black Glass Beads w Purple Bearded Iris Flowers NICE
This is a GORGEOUS handbeaded purse that is approximately 100 years old. Measures 7 1/2" wide x 10 3/4" long to the bottom of the looped fringe not including the clasp. Handle drop is 6 3/4" There are approximately 12 beads per inch. Black background with two shades of purple and yellow iris flowers. Leaves are two shades of green. There are fleur de lis and egg shaped symbols just under the frame. Frame is not marked. Has an engraved design of diamond shapes alternating with flowers. Clasp has two cone shaped dark sapphire colored stones. Lined with a lavender silk fabric with yellow and purple purple floss flowers around the inside of the frame. There are no pockets. Where the purse attaches to the frame there is a bead in each opening of the frame(so it is not just sewn to the frame but a bead was attached as well) Shipping ... moreis via USPS Priority mail and will include insurance and tracking.
