The mystery beads are capped with tooled sterling silver. The rosary measures 22” and the crucifix is 2” long. The rosary has its original carrying pouch made of leather and lined with black velvet. This is for a beautiful set of large French silver and amethyst glass Rosary beads. The purple beads are all faceted and joined with silver links. The silver cross is ornate with a pierced back and there is a nice pierced silver plaque at the union of the circular necklace and the beads that fall down. There are six beads mounted with silver tops and bottoms and these separate the five rows of ten beads. The silver cross and silver joiner are stamped with French silver marks and the chain is intact and in excellent condition. There is one bead that is chipped and is missing half of the glass but all the others look in excellent condition with just light wear.
