Vintage Catholic Chaplet/ Rosary of The Infant Jesus of Prague"Little Crown" Vintage 5 1/2" amber glass chaplet(from about the 1950's) Copy of original leaflet This comes with a sheet printed on both sides explaining the devotion and instructions on how to pray the chaplet. The beads of the chaplet are made of smooth round amber colored glass. Its really pretty. The medal that is attached has an image of The Infant Jesus of Prague on the front with His Heart on the back. The paper explains"This devotion owes its origin to the zeal of the Ven. Vintage Amber Faceted GLASS 18" Rosary Mary Conceived Without Sin Medal
I am offering on Buy It Now a vintage 18" long rosary from the mid century. This faceted glass/crystal rosary has amber tinted beads with silver metal links. The fancy crucifix is 1 3/4" long and has INRI across the top. The central medal is for Mary. Conceived without sin, on one side and an"M" on the reverse side. I could not read any other markings on this metal. I think this rosary was made in Italy, but it was found in a home in Buffalo, NY in an old Polish neighborhood. Old Vintage Amber Glass Bead Rosary 3 Medals Attached Lourdes St Anthony& Case O.K. So I spent a whole day this week shopping for you and came home with a truck-full. Then, I went to an antique liquidation barn sale– Brrrrr was it cold, but so worth it. Then, I stopped by an auction just in time to get most of my favorites– boy, I’ve been busy! I’m so excited to show you what I have! Lots of antiques; primitive to retro to deco to Victorian pretties, advertising, Americana folk art and just cool stuff. I’ll take me a white to list, so be sure to keep checking! I have another box of old religious items to list this week. Be sure to check out my other listings and keep checking too. This listing is for the beautiful amber colored glass rosary that you see in my photos. I bought it inside of the leather cast that will come with it. The case ... moreis black leather, marked, My Rosary, in gold on the outside and, Genuine Morroco, for the origin of the leather on the inside. The case is lined with blue velvet that shows some wear(see photo 7) but it's general, with no holes, rips, etc. It's in really nice overall condition and has protected the rosary well. The rosary is just lovely. Whether or not it was originally with the case, I do not know. I think the case is not as old as the rosary(although still vintage) I do think the rosary could be old enough to be antique. See my photos and what you think. The rosary measures 23" long and the cross at the bottom measures 1 1/2" by 7/8" Now, the cross is a gold or brass color- my guess is brass, because that looks like the natural color of the metal to me, not a finish, and the back of the cross almost has the dark color of copper. It is not marked, but I did check, because I thought that it might be real gold- but without the mark, I'm going with brass. As you can see from my photos, the former owner added at least three medals at the bottom, and then there's another small medal up on the rosary that I do not know if it was original or added. Th

Catholic Rosary 1 Here is a lovely rosary crafted from a lovely pairing of topaz glass beads and silver metal components with amber enamel. Each glass bead is softly faceted and measures 6mm round. The center medal features a profile of Our Lady on one side and the Grotto Apparition on the verso. The budded crucifix has devotional images with amber colored enamel ornamentation. The images include Mary with head bowed and hands clasped in prayer. Our Lady and St. Bernadette, Lourdes Basilica and head profile of Our Lady. A nicely molded corpus is set on the cross.
