I can always list an item you are interested in so just let me know! For sale is a superb sugar shaker/ caster/ muffineer made by Meissen in the late 19th century. It is the larger size and is hand painted with two rose flowers including a flower bud and leaves and has an amazing reticulated and molded top for the sugar to pour out of and a little finial highlighted with gilding at the very tip. This piece does have a very decorative shape. It is in perfect condition. The cork in the bottom is more likely a replacement but one cannot be sure so it might even be the original one. The pot is marked with the underglaze blue crossed swords underneath as well as a painter's mark 44. in black and an impressed number typical of this period! The piece is 7.25 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter.
