Condition: Used Location: Glendale, United States Wonderful antique buffet sideboard. This is a true quality item! Superbly made and exceptionally heavy! Measures 72 inches across. Depth 23 inches across ... morefront marble. Mirror top to marble base. 26 inches. 46 inches from floor to marble base. Interior side shelves measure 17 inches long and 7 1/2 inches wide. 2 side doors swing out to the side. Main body interior is 16 inches deep by 48 inches long by 30 inches tall. 2 front drawers with two side drawers. Swing out to the side as shown! Solid oak everywhere! Even the drawer linings. Draw sides and back are all oak and not an inferior wood. The interior is all oak. The doors lock but I have lost the key! Currently all the doors are unlocked! Inside at the back somebody cut a hole out. Not sure why that was done but it is there! The only newish part is an interior shelf which is in the main body. I believe it is still solid oak but it lacks the patina of the original. The glass is not damaged anywhere. The marble has exquisite shading and color. With pink, grey and purple variations. It has light scratches on the top and minor tiny chips on the edge as expected for a piece this age. It is not broken anywhere! The carvings are so wonderful with urns. Horns, ribbons, roses, tassels, swags and leaves. Both front panels have cracks on the decoration as seen in the photographs. Very reluctantly for sale! France and imported to it's current location in Charleston, SC. This high quality solid oak furniture was manufactured somewhere between the 1900 and the early to mid-twentieth century. In addition to it's marvelous condition, the beautiful wood grain is highlighted by the linen fold design and all the other highly detailed carvings, wood applique and hand forged iron hardware along with keys to the locks and hand dovetailed drawers. This oversize cupboard stands 87 1/2 inches tall by 83 1/2 inches wide by 23 1/2 inches front to back, making an impressive statement as a wall unit all on it's own in any room of your home or business. Antique Walnut Wood & Beveled Mirror For Buffet Dresser Mantle Sideboard
Very nice vintage or antique mirror that looks as though it came from a buffet. Sideboard cupboard, or a mantle. This is a very heavy item. The wood frame is a dark wood and looks like walnut but could be oak. The top of the mirror comes to a swirled point and then into a square. The back is put together with nails and wavy staples. There was new picture wire hanger that was added to the mirror when I purchased it but I removed it. that is why there are two holes on each side. There are no markings or numbers on the mirror. Measures 27-1/4"L x 17"H x 3/4" thick. The mirror is beveled around the edges and does have dark silvery spots in places. Stunning Unique Vintage Antique Sideboard Server Buffet Table
This is an absolutely gorgeous old buffet sideboard table. This was purchased at an auction of an estate of a gentleman who spent the vast majority of his life purchasing and refinishing high end and hand made furniture. I was able to speak to him about this buffet and he stated the the front drawers were hand scooped/carved. The carved drawers really give this table a unique character. The sideboard appears to be made out of oak and it has a central green leather with gold trim inlay that allowed for hot plates and dishes as well as wet items to be set on top without damaging the wood. Buffet measures 30" high x 42" long x 19" wide. I can find three very small little rubs in the leather. Pinpoint size. The rest of the leather is in great shape. There are a couple of places where it appears that the adhesive leaked from under ... morethe leather. This buffet is solid and heavy! Joints are solid. there are three drawers.a lap drawer and two side drawers. All drawers work flawlessly and all rails for the drawers are solid. A one of a kind buffet. Absolutely beautiful.
