This Vintage 1963 Infant of Prague Statue was made in Italy. Has the original label on the bottom. The back stand is embossed Columbia Statuary Inc. 1963(C) Absolutely Beautiful with jeweled crown. The crown is missing the cross on the top. Also missing the cross on the top of the earth. Measures approximately 16 1/4" tall with a beautiful lace gown. There is a small worn spot and some minor stains in the fold of the gown that is not seen without pulling the gown folds apart. Gorgeous hand-painted face with wonderful detail. There is a small chip on her baby finger and a chip on her thumb. Slight paint loss on back of crown(perhaps from laying down all these years) Under the gown there is a small chip on her sleeve and on the bottom back base. Neither can be seen without pulling the gown up. No smoke or musty odors. This was an estate ... moresale find. I'm not a collector, so please look at all 12 photos carefully. ANTIQUE VTG CHALKWARE OLD PAINTED INFANT PRAGUE STATUE AS IS ROSARY BEADS
AWESOME STATUE- AS IS. This statue is amazing. Its really large and really old. Its got its metal wiring that you can see from inside from areas where its been broken. Ok, so he isn't perfect but I just fell in love with his look. His head was off, parts of his head were put back together, his collar has been repaired, lots of chippiness to base, paint is flecking off. All that being said I still just adore him. He is large and is wearing rosary beads and the house that this came out of was a mansion and she had incredible taste. So even with all his imperfections he is still awesome, he still has his hands and his ball. This is definitely older than your average statue, and much larger than the ones you normally see. Obviously selling this as is since he is SO not perfect. Measures: 21" tall and is almost 11" wide at widest ... morepoint. He will be double boxed for safe arrival. Lovely vintage Infant of Prague twelve inch statue. Circa 1040's-50's. Statue in in very nice condition.and a bit different than most. The head with crown looks like porcelain& has beautifully delicate hand painted features. One hand has globe; the blue paint slightly cracked[just like the world we live in today! The other hand is made of rubber and is added into opening in plaster arm. Body is unpainted plaster or chalk ware. The two piece vestment is ivory satin type fabric with gold and lace trim. Up for sale, Infant of Prague Statue with Velvet& Lace Gown by Columbia Statuary Made in Italy 1963 Stunning Infant of Prague Statue made by Columbia Statuary in Italy in 1963. Stands over 16 inches tall to the top of the molded crown. A majestic 18 1/2 inches when you add the additional metal crown. Clothed in a Red Velvet Cape attached to Satin Cream Gown embellished with Gold Lace and Trim. In wonderful clean condition with two shallow 1/8" chips to the base as seen in Photos 8& 9 which don't show under the clothes and one shallow 1/8" chip and one 1/8" scratch to the top of the head(Photo 10) Only the chip shows when the crown is placed on top(Photo 11) The original cross from the orb is missing so I replaced it with the original cross from the crown(Photo 5) and found a gold toned metal filagreed crown from ... moreanother Infant of Prague to place on top of the molded crown(Photo 6) The molded crown is bejeweled along the front of the rim and on the central fleur de lis as is the metal crown. The lace cuffs are removable as is the gown but I haven't tried to remove them. The seam binding on the inside of the gown has some discoloration from rubbing on the gold bottom of the statue but again this is the inside and not the outside and for some reason the lace trim doesn't go all the way across the back. This is a rare.And beautiful Infant of Prague that came out of a church,and has Daprato Studios on the back,and date is 1930 or 1940,I cannot make it out,but it is old.It is almost 24 inches with the cross,and has brown varnish finish to it.It come with no outfits.You can see that the finger is in need of a small amount of plaster,and that is the only damage there is.The crown,is breathtaking.The most important feature is the glass eyes,usually only seen on Daparato staute.It has the little ring on it finger,and the cross on the globe(most of them are damage)No chips on his head,or anywhere else.Due to the heaviness of this statue,it will be double box,and I charge a handling fee of $3.00 for extras material. shipping will be $17.00 to $25.00 depending on where I am shipping to

Embroidery beading This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1960s pattern to make a Dress& Cape for your Infant of Prague statue. I have this pattern available in a variety of sizes. So be sure that you are purchasing the correct size. This auction is for the 12" tall statue, as measured from the crown finial to the lower edge of the base and should fit dolls from 11-13" tall. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have. This pattern makes: the Cape or Robe which is lined. Edged in red trim and has a stand up collar. The white inside(lining) ... moreedge of the cape is embroidered and beaded. GREETINGS! Vintage 1960's? CSC(Columbia Statuary Co Italy) Chalkware/Chalk Ware Infant of Prague Jesus Statue. Stunning Blue Eyes. Ivory, Bottom Hem Silver(in front and purple on one side) and Red Robe. Tons of Embossed Detail. Very Large this one Measures 25 and 1/4" tall. The base measures 7 and 3/8th" by 6" and weighs 11.5 pounds! Comes with Satin/Silky Damask Ivory Colored Vestment Robe with Gold Trim. Does have a couple of stains that may or may not come out in the wash. It measures from the center collar to hem 17" across open 32" Fully Dressed without Robe with such incredible detail. Has all fingers and Crosses in tact. Has a chip on Chalkware robe on the side back. Some Paint loss. This will have to be carefully packed and double boxed.
