This was made in Italy. I do not know how old it is. Been around awhile as it could use a dusting and light wash. I'm going to say it's a resin and I believe it's probably partially hand carved. Some of the angles seem like it would be impossible to cast. This I am unsure of, you'll have to decide for yourself. It is very intricate,probably weighs about 3 pounds(I have no scale, it's a guess) and it doesn't appear to have any defects or damage, it's a very nice piece.
